Christine is always personable, knows her job and sees that you are in and out of the dealership at the promised time. After trying unsuccessfully to deal with Casey Subaru in NN VA near where I live, my daughter who witnessed the Casey fiasco suggested I talk to one of the dealers near her home in Reading, MA. Enter Perry NN VA near where I live, my daughter who witnessed the Casey fiasco suggested I talk to one of the dealers near her home in Reading, MA. Enter Perry Mallias of Wakefield Subaru and I now have the car that I wanted with a minimum of hassel and at a very good price! My daughter did the delivery for me from MA to VA, but even with that expense including air fare back to MA, the car I wanted was available now not waiting to 2013 and with several thousand $ savings over dealers here in VA. I had purchased my first of eight subarus in 2002 and have all my cars maintained at this dealership. I visited five dealerships in my search for a good deal and a dealership I could trust. Subaru of Wakeful was my last, but it was well worth the wait. Each dealership, I began to notice, has its own culture and environment. Most I visited were lacking in one way or another. When I finally visited Subaru of Wakefield, I was very pleasantly surprised at how friendly my wife and I were welcomed. As we stepped through the process of examining the car I was interested in, and then through the steps of securing the final sale, each step was efficient, low-key (no hard sell!) genuinely friendly and very accommodating. My wife and I were very pleased with being treated like people instead of sales targets. We also liked that our interaction with each person we came in contact with at was just a person doing their job, helping us get through the sales process with a smile. We got the feeling that if we decided to change our mind at any moment, it would be accepted as our right and without bad feelings. We have a Subaru dealership closer to our home, where we bought my wife's Forester four years ago. It would be easier for us to go there for service. But because of the way we were treated at Subaru of Wakefield, my wife and I have decided to bring our service needs there instead for now on. Many businesses talk about how the customer always comes first, yet fall down in practice. If judging businesses by what they do, and not what they say, then Subaru of Wakefield's actions speak for themselves. More

The staff at Subaru Wakefield was friendly and straight-forward. I had got a price quote from another dealer that was more affordable, Subaru Wakefield said they couldn't match it but if the othe straight-forward. I had got a price quote from another dealer that was more affordable, Subaru Wakefield said they couldn't match it but if the other dealership didn't pull through that I should come back and then would stick by their price - and that's exactly what happened, the other dealership went back on their word regarding price, I went back to Wakefield and they stayed true to what they said and made the process as easy as possible. We were referred to this dealer by the Costco Auto Purchase program and received an internet quote approximately 2% under invoice on a 2013 Outback that was coming into inventory. This was the best price of the local Northshore dealers, although one Soutshore dealer not in the Costco program came very close with their quote. Our salesperson was Perry Mallias and we tried to see if they'd negotiate the internet quote down, but no luck. Nevertheless, the price was the best we'd found locally and right in the target of 2% under invoice for a "good" deal. Not sure the value of the Costco program, though, if another dealer can match the Costco price. Perry was very helpful and spent a considerable amount of time explaining the features and operations of the car when we took delivery. The car was impeccable when we picked it up as well. The dealership wasn't a hard sell kind of place and when we declined to purchase some of the add-ons at the closing, the decision was politely accepted without any pressure to change our minds. Overall, a very pleasant car buying experience. More
