Lessons to Learn from Leann I began my visit upset, demanding to talk to a manager after an extremely difficult interaction with the service department. After a lengthy discuss I began my visit upset, demanding to talk to a manager after an extremely difficult interaction with the service department. After a lengthy discussion, the Manager (Who was actually listening) apologized for my experience, then I believe, very purposefully introduced me to Leann. I bought a new car 24 hours later. Leann was excellent. Her knowledge of the mechanics of the car (engine, tires, electronics) insurance offerings, rebates and other savings programs was vast. She verified her knowledge by looking things up and sharing the information. Not intimidated by questioning, very open to saying..." let's look that up". She was appreciative and respective of the age difference, mindful of style and approach. She was careful to teach without being belittling, guide without demand, listen without being judgmental, confident in offering her opinion as appropriate and respectful of time. She was patient and real, displaying beautiful pictures of her family proudly on her desk easily paving the way for just the right mix of reality with businesses. She made sure I had all her contact information and was always prompt to respond with correct information, professionalism and always a smile easily detected through the phone. As a woman, I was extremely proud of her. She is rare in her position and poise. A role model for excellence in knowledge and outstanding customer service. More
