I originally met Russ Wakeman a few months ago when we stopped in the dealership just looking at cars. We were not ready to buy yet but knew that we would be and were shopping around to see what was out stopped in the dealership just looking at cars. He showed us the car and explained what options were available. He was available without being pushy. Russ took our names and called periodically to ask how we were doing - I never felt like he was pushing us, he was just keeping himself in my mind. When we were ready to buy of course we went to Russ. He was helpful in our decision making process and our final purchase. I haven't had to deal with any other department yet so can't really speak of them. When I am ready to buy again, or know of someone who is, I will definately recommend Russ Wakeman at Airport Honda. We bought a 2009 Honda CRV from Jim Davis. He was very helpful. We told him what we were looking for and after a couple of test drives we found the car we wanted. We were up front about what payment range we wanted to be in. We ended up putting down more than what we wanted to and ended up trading in a veh we did not initially intend on doing. Still the payment was a little higher than we expected but we decided to purchase the vehicle anyway. I probably did not go thru the paperwork like I should have so some of this was my fault but they ended up selling me an aftermarket warranty for 2500.00 dollars that I was never told the price of. I found this out the next day and called Frank and told him I did not need this warranty. He then tried to reduce the price of the warranty to 1600.00 dollars. I still declined and he took it off. My complaint is we would have been at the payment we wanted if the warranty was not added. I was not allowed to make an informed buying decision. That decision was made by someone else not me. Fortunately I was able to have the warranty removed and was closer to the payment we had planned on. More
