Have been doing business with this dealership since 2010. Remained a loyal customer since. We purchased a 2011 Sonata that had a problem with midnight blue color. Reported to see reps within the first several years. They never recorded the issue in service reports. Turns out several years later that Hyundai was aware of this issue as per the dealership’s used car salesman. We purchased the car from an un scrupulous salesman named Andy Green as it turns out was involved with the “ wolf of Wall Street scandal involving Jordan Balfour.. we were duped by this salesman. Yet the vehicle provided us with many years of good performance despite the the paint peeling off. Still happy with Hyundai vehicles we purchased a 2016 Sonata Limited which I still drive today with 52,000 miles. Just went for service on a trouble code that was recorded & reported through luelink. Called Hyundai USA to confirm that the trouble code was covered by the warranty, case #2399799. Was given a n appointment two Weeks later on October 14th@ 9:15am. Upon arrival at service area everyone was attentive until the service representative came out to sign me for my appointment. He was very curt & condescending. I tried to provide the information I already had, such as the trouble code & the case # from Hyundai! He was very dismissive of the information I was intimating to him we exchanged words & I proceeded to the service manager to report incident. Service manager said the case # didn’t mean anything it was just a way for HyundaiUSA to record the call. Returned to service representative to sign my car in for repair. This representative then proceeded to pound on the documents for my car a friend that was picking me up took notice of this man’s pounding on The counter & asked me what had happened. Maybe this representative was having a bad day ! I don’t know but his behavior & the dismissive nature of the service manager when I reported the issue was totally unacceptable to me! I would like to add that in July 2023 I placed a deposit on a Tucson on the showroom floor. Sales rep placed a sold sign on Hood witnessed By buddy who was with me. Later in that evening salesman called to say that vehicle was sent to New Jersey & was no longer available which of course upset me & my wife very much as the new car was for her. Dealership said they would find same exact vehicle as soon as possible! I couldn’t believe what had just happened. The dealership could have cared less when I complained. I purchased the same exact vehicle through an auto leasing firm. Needless to say we were very disappointed even though we love Hyundai vehicles! I know this way after the fact but the recent service visit incident forced me to report this dealership. More
