Came in for service at the end of June, asked to have my head unit looked at as the glass was separating from the unit. They did all the other service I requested (oil change and inspection) but “forgot” to head unit looked at as the glass was separating from the unit. After that appointment it was deemed a warranty repair and they would have to order the part. Fast forward to today, I was never contacted once to say the part arrived. I call today and after a little “confusion” on their end they inform me after a part comes in it gets shipped back after 30 days. So basically my part came in, it sat there, and no one thought to let the customer know. Now it has to be Re-ordered. Let’s see if they screw it up a second time More
I bought my car for service for just an oil change. I made an appointment for 9:00 am and I was there at 8:50am. They took my car in. Now I have a habit of jotting my info for my car, when I dropped off my mileage was 15505 and the gas showed 268. They had me waiting for four (4) hours and other customers came and went. When I finally asked about my car they told me that my car was parked out in the front. All this time they drove cars out of the service department themselves to give to the customers. Anyway, when I went into my car, the mileage read 15514 and the gas 254. I immediately knew that my car had been driven around!! A oil change does not take 4 hours!!! My mileage as well as my gas read that indeed my car was used!!! I am very disappointed and unhappy with the service that Advantage Hyundai has provided. My service advisor was Erin Pugliese. I will be calling and complaining as well but I wanted to post my review first (and see if they call me from the service department regarding this matter)!! I love my car but I am not a happy customer of the service department. And I can see from the reviews that there are many unhappy customers as well. You would think that they would do something to improve themselves so as to not get bad reviews!! Amazing!! More
There auto service doesn’t work at all they take whole day but doesn’t nothing and there warrant also not good they tell you something else ab when it comes to doing it they change there statement. TOOK MY VEHICLE TO BE SERVICED, THE HYUNDAI REPRESENTATIVE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO WAIT OR COME BACK TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE LATER. THE WORK NEEDED WAS MINOR, SO I ASKED HOW LONG DO YOU THINK IT REPRESENTATIVE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO WAIT OR COME BACK TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE LATER. THE WORK NEEDED WAS MINOR, SO I ASKED HOW LONG DO YOU THINK IT WOULD TAKE. ( I WAS SEATED IN MY VEHICLE, WITH THE WINDOW OPENED AT THE TIME ). THE MALE EMPLOYEE TOLD ME HE DID NOT KNOW ! ( IN A SURLY MANNER) I THEN STATED THAT I WOULD WAIT FOR MY VEHICLE. THE HYUNDAI EMPLOYEE THEN SHOUTED YOU CAN'T, HE THEN THOUGHT I CURSED AT HIM WHICH WAS UNTRUE . HE THEN LEANED DOWN AND PLACE HIS FACE A FEW INCHES FROM MINE, AND SHOUTED AND EXPLETIVE AT ME. WHEN I STATED, I DID NOT WANT THE SERVICE NOW. HE VIOLENTLY SWUNG HIS FIST STRIKING THE REAR OF MY SIDE VIEW MIRROR, WITH HIS CLENCHED FIST, I WAS IN FEAR OF MY SAFETY. AND WHEN IT WAS SAFE, LEFT THE AREA, PARKED MY VEHICLE, AND WENT IN TO SPEAK TO THE SERVICE MANAGER, MICHAEL KIELY WHO LISTENED TO THE OCCURRENCE , WITH A SARDONIC LOOK ON HIS FACE. I TOLD MR. KIELY THAT I FELT THE EMPLOYEE WAS IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE TRAINING. MR. KIELY STATED HE WOULD TALK TO THE EMPLOYEE, AND KNEW WHO HE WAS. MR. KIELY HAS NEVER GOTTEN BACK TO ME IN NEARLY 2 MONTHS. Hyundai just doesn’t care about you once you signed the contract and bought their car. I brought my car to the Advantage Hyundai auto dealer to have them fix a recall on my 2020 Palisades. While there the service department informed me that I needed to replace my brake rotors and pads, as the rotors had only three percent thickness remaining. I gave approval for them to conduct the repair only to find out that they didn’t have the rotors in stock and that they would need to be ordered. I was then informed that I would have to pay up-front for the parts in order for them to be ordered. I provided payment and was told that the parts would be in in about 1-2 weeks. They told me to take the car home as they don’t have room to store it. and that they would notify me once the part was in. After two weeks and no call from Advantage Hyundai I reached out to the dealer and for an update. The parts department told me it would be another “week or so” until the parts would arrive. After another two weeks of not hearing from Hyundai I reached out again and was told it would be another week or two until the parts would be available. This has been going on for nine weeks so far and still no parts. I reached out to Hyundai USA customer service and asked how they can sell cars that they cannot maintain. They are obviously still selling new Palisades with OEM brake’s and rotors attached. I explained that my car had reached a point that it was no longer safe to operate (and stop safely). Hyundai USA customer service informed me that if its not a warranty or recall issue they basically can’t help me. They still don’t know when the parts will come in, they did say “another one to two weeks” as if I haven’t heard that before. I did however receive the monthly bill from Hyundai financial to pay for my 2020 Hyundai even though its basically a “Potted Plant” sitting in my driveway. How can they sell cars that they can’t maintain? How can they expect customers to pay for cars that don’t operate? Why would they take money to lock you in to purchasing parts from a dealer who can’t produce the parts? I am very disappointed with Hyundai’s attitude toward its customers. I like the car and think its a quality vehicle, it’s a shame that the company feels that once they got you to buy its car that you are no longer of any consequence. Nine plus weeks in and I still have no answers. Hyundai customer service says that company policy will not allow them to help resolve my issue. They basically said you just have to wait!!!!! Too Bad!!!! Anyone considering purchasing a Hyundai vehicle needs to consider the companies attitude toward its customers, is the future that awaits you. More
Service department is terrible. Last 2 visits they told me there was a nail in my tire. He also refused to enter my car for service. I went to talk to the service manager and he said “well there’s construction in the area”. “We don’t put nails in tires”. Very defensive. I said it better not happen for a THIRD time. I would warn everyone to stay away from Advantage Hyundai and their service department. More
I recently brought my car in for service. After two hours they told me that they had lost my car and that it had been stolen from their property. The agency manager told that it was my problem and tha hours they told me that they had lost my car and that it had been stolen from their property. The agency manager told that it was my problem and that I should take it up with my insurance company. The manager and the dealership took no responsibility regarding the safe keeping of vehicles under their control and on their property. It is apparently their position that anyone who brings a car for service does so at their own risk. More

Two months into my lease I begin hearing a rattling noise coming from the sunvisor sunroof area. 7/14, 7/20, 8/14 & again 8/21 for the same rattling noise that at this point genesis Corp is involved and my car is not being worked on because warranty work is only paid out to a dealership once unless approved by corporate. Advantage Hyundai is in possession of my vehicle as I have a loaner car. Corporate says they are a high line car, they don’t act as such. Not really working with the customer (me) working within perimeters to get corporate down to see my car, receiving excuses, the typical runaround. All I want is the rattling noise to be fixed correctly. More
Worst service department. Made 2 appointments for a recall for 2019 Tucson. Both times when I showed up after taking the AM off from work, was told the parts for the recall were not in stock.
