I went to Advantage of Hodgkins in July of 2013 to buy a used 2012 Impala that I saw on Autotrader the day before. I met with Cyril, my car salesman. I have to say the experience at Advantage was great. I have brought cars before in the past but this dealership and the salesman I had really made my purchase enjoyable. The dealership was very clean, everybody in there treated you with a smile. They are willing to work with you and give you the best deal they can. The reasons why I gave the ratings I did was mainly because of the enjoyable experience I received at Advantage. Cyril was probably the best salesman I have ever had. At past dealerships I didn't enjoy buying the cars as much but here it was very enjoyable. I didn't have many questions to ask when I got there but the questions I did ask, Cyril made sure to answer them to the best of his ability. He answered all my questions I did ask and he was quick on his toes. The process of buying a car is still slow which isn't their fault. It's just how it works. But they have definitely earned me as a customer. I never had any service work done on my car at Advantage only because it is about 20 miles from my home so I can't give an opinion on them. Overall, I am completely satisfied. I even brought my cousin here and he bought a car from Cyril as well. My father is next.... More
I don’t know if the finance manager was having a bad day or what but his attitude not towards just us but the salesman was ridicules. While they were working on some numbers we asked the salesperson if the or what but his attitude not towards just us but the salesman was ridicules. While they were working on some numbers we asked the salesperson if they could call us because we had some errands to run. We heard him snap and say “what do they think it only takes a half hour to buy a car” told the salesperson not to worry about it. Then later after test driving another car. Say “what do they expect. They can’t go look at a $250,000 dollar house with no money down” And we were not close to the finance area. Total rudeness. The whole dealership doesn’t need to know my business or for that matter anyone else’s business. I will never step foot in that dealership again. My friend has bought 2 cars from Hopkins and vows to never return to that dealership again as well. I didn’t want to go to the other dealership in Bolingbrook because I didn’t want to give Advantage any of my business. But got talked into it. And I am glad I did… I think the managers should take lessons from Bolingbrook to learn how to treat customers. More

As a consumer I hate the process of buying a car. Most dealerships take hours and always try to sell you something you don't want. Not with this dealership!!! I was very pleased from the moment I walked through the door. The atmosphere was very inviting and everyone I walked pass greeted me. I told the saleswoman Brandy Brooks exactly what I was looking for and she found it within my budget. 20 minutes later I was signing the paperwork to my new car. Once the process was done they had a very nice gentleman Chris come and explain all the features of my new vehicle. He was very knowledgeable about the car and what it has to offer. I have brought several cars from different dealership but none of them were quite like this. I enjoyed every aspect of this experience and I have already refereed 3 friends. More

What easily could have been a stressful encounter turned out to be very smooth and stress free and it was all because of the exceptional staff. This dealership is very nice and clean and even on new years eve I didn't feel rushed our pressured. I got a great deal on a great car and Dennis looked for and found me great financing. This was a great car buying experience and I will definitely refer friends and family to Advantage of they're in the market for a new vehicle or certified used vehicle. More
