How does a car have a manufacturing defect and the dealership not know about it before selling it? Shows they don’t give attention to the details of the car. All they care about is selling you the car. I got a 2025 Acura MDX technology package on Sunday. The stereo was not working so they told me it was just an auto theft code that they need so just come back and the service will enter the code and it’ll work. I came back on Monday,apparently the car stereo was a manufacturing defect. The amp had a nationwide shortage and doesn’t know when they would be able to repair the car. So, I requested to switch to a different car but they gave me such a hard time. I tried calling to talk to a salesman about switching vehicle but they never called me back. I decided to drive back in on Tuesday at 5:30pm. Told the guy my situation, he started telling me “how if I change the car, they’ll increase my payment because I’m not abiding by my contract”. Then he told me “you came too late. No one here has authority to help your situation. So just go home, write your name and number and someone will reach out to you.” He did not even look into my file or give me any help. Then the guy sitting right next to him, James Robinson sales manager, called me on my way home and said “I looked into your file and we can switch your car for you” like it is my fault. If the first guy did his job correctly, I wouldn’t have to come back. How do you lie to a customer and treat a customer like that?? Next morning I came back to finally get a different car. I asked, James Robinson, for a small compensation for this mishaps because this was definitely a dealership issue not my fault. I had to leave work early, find babysitters and sit on the 405 traffic for an hour just to drive back here 4 days in a row. James Robinson, the sales manager, said “I AM NOT SPENDING ANOTHER PENNY ON THIS DEAL. WE’RE DONE! ” NONE OF THEM APOLOGIZE FOR THIS. This is not how you treat a customer. Don’t give them your business!! More
They lie, upsell, think you don’t know the laws. Sold me a lemon, never registered it properly, never got me my title, hung up on me when I called them on their xx. I described what I was looking for and Jasmin brought two cars I walked in without an appointment and was immediately connected with Jasmin Jackson. I described what I was looking for and Jasmin brought two cars around for a test drive. Jasmin was very knowledgeable on both vehicles and was able to answer all my questions. I really liked the RDX so we started working lease payments and cars that were available in the trim and color I was interested in. I finally settled on one and we were able to get the lease payment where I wanted it. She passed me off to James were we completed the paperwork and off I drove. 11 days later I'm really enjoying the RDX - a beautiful car at a great price! More
