i am giving this rating ,because our overall experience was wonderful.You go to a dealership and think it will be a hassle ,but at Tischer it was a pleasant buying experience!!! On the initial encounter, I was dismayed because I was accustomed to working with Martin, who no longer is with Tischer. I was not certain that I would get the same type of personal service from anyone else. Daniel dissolved that concern fairly quickly. This most recent visit was even more personal, due to the intensive nature of service required on my vehicle. Daniel kept me abreast of each step and even though I had to pay a small fortune to reunite with my car, it was not so painful because I felt he was being honest and thorough in his service. Although Martin will be missed, Daniel is a great replacement for Martin. Also, a special thanks to Steve, the mechanic, for getting my car back in tip top shape and Charles, the cashier, for always being friendly and and adding that humor and personal touch. More
While I am a long time customer at Tischer (my 2000 Acura RL is my second Acura), I always like to take time to document exceptional service. My car didn't start late one evening when I was a great distance from home. The battery was immediately ruled out because it was less than 3 months old. I was able to start and drive the car to Tischer from a repair shop that was nearby. Chris was the Service Advisor and put me in a loaner so my schedule was not interupted. He suggested the problem might be the starter but he wanted to confirm that because of the expense. He kept me posted for several days as the car continued to start and only when everything was ruled out did he replace the starter. His professionalism and attention to detail put my mind at ease in a very scary situation. He also put in followup call a few days after I picked up the car to be sure everything was ok. I know if anything happens, I can call him because I keep his card with me. You don't get service like that these days. I am a retired Federal Executive who is an Adjunct Professor at a local community college and I must have reliable transportation because of my hours. Grear Service, Great Customer Service, repaired right the first time They have loaners and all there employees work hard to take care of any concern that I may have with my RDX. My experience with Tischer Acura is very disappointing for their lack of wanting to help find the car that I wanted. I guess it is easier to sell a car on the lot then to try to make the customer happy. for their lack of wanting to help find the car that I wanted. I was very happy with the service side of my Acura, no complaints there. (Chris was very helpful) Even though Tischer is very close to my home I would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone. More
I would not use this dealership because they did not disclose the fact that this car had been in two accidents before I got this car. I was taken advantage of because I had the need of a car because of disclose the fact that this car had been in two accidents before I got this car. I was taken advantage of because I had the need of a car because of my recent accident. I felt like I was not treated very well and almost immediately the problems started with this car. After the first day one of the lights stopped working. They had to replace the rear windshield and did not have enough keys to provide me for the car. After a month or so the other light went out and when I replaced it went out again. I would be very wary if I bought a car here. More
I have purchased two vehicles from Tischer Acura and have found them to be extremely professional and accomodating to thei customers. They have a Tischer VIP program which I have never been offered any where found them to be extremely professional and accomodating to thei customers. I would definatly reccommend them to anyone wanting to purchase a new vehicle. More
I went to Tischer Auto in Laurel MD. Upon driving up I had an idea of what I wanted. I was concerned that being a woman the dealer may not be completely fair. Sales man were very manipulative and very mannerless and not at all know how to deal with customers. Very worst customer service. I dont recommend this dealership to anyone. I bought a used Acura RSX from the dealership with an extended warranty plan. The overall experience of buying the car went well, but right before the warranty expired I brought the car in for a problem extended warranty plan. The overall experience of buying the car went well, but right before the warranty expired I brought the car in for a problem with the exhaust system - they claimed they fixed it under the warranty - but a couple weeks later after warranty expired the problem become much worse because it wasn't fixed right the first time. I ended up having to have the work done somewhere else and it cost a lot of money in the end because they did not do the work correctly the first time. Also, the car was sold to me with out a key for the wheel locks - so I was not able to change my flat tire. They refused to admit in both cases that they were in the wrong. Overall they are highly unprofessional and have bad customer service. More
