Around 9 PM the Friday before Memorial Day, my '99 Acura TL started experiencing engine problems. I was driving to Boston the following morning and was in desperate need of a mechanic. I was able to drive from DC to Laurel and arrived at the service department without an appointment. After explaining my problem to Chris, he told me that they would work to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. The mechanic even agreed to work through his lunch to help me out. I was touched by this kindness and appreciative of the service, especially given the nature of my emergency and that I did not have an appointment. Chris and Jason were both friendly and helpful, and I cannot thank them enough. I have complete confidence in Tisher and will not hesitate to go back for future service. More

Tischer sold me a certified used Acura TL with broken speakers and lots of rattles. When I took it for service, they hadn't registered my cert used warranty with Acura so it was showing up as out of war speakers and lots of rattles. When I took it for service, they hadn't registered my cert used warranty with Acura so it was showing up as out of warranty. Then they botched the repairs and I had to take it to a different dealership to get it done right. Then they had my permanent tags for three weeks without calling me. In fact, my car was at their dealership for the attempted repair when the tags came in. But I had to call them and make a separate trip to get them. They will never touch my car again, and I will never buy from them again. More
By far the WORST car buying experience EVER! Buyers BEWARE!!!!! Where do I begin? I purchased a new 2012 Acura TL in February 2012. I decided to trade in my 2006 Infiniti M35X and before I arrived a BEWARE!!!!! Where do I begin? I purchased a new 2012 Acura TL in February 2012. I decided to trade in my 2006 Infiniti M35X and before I arrived at Tischer, I decided to head to Carmax to see how much I could get for my vehicle. Thankfully I did, because Tischer attempted to offer me $2,500 less than what Carmax was going to offer me! At first the Tischer sales manager challenged me on what I said Carmax offered me, but when I showed them CarMax’s offer, they decided to match CarMax’s offer! I should have walked out of the dealership then. I selected the 2012 Acura TL and began to negotiate. After 4 hours of negotiations, I was finally satisfied with my financing. Chu Park the finance guy appeared to be knowledgeable about the finance process, but sadly, I was wrong! I must say he has the gift of gab, but is totally clueless! A complete clown!!! I had to bring my car in within a couple of days to have a protective coat placed on my vehicle, and when I came back to pick my car up, some thieving technician had stolen my brand new iPod charger I had purchased from Best Buy the day before!!! When I complained, the sales manager didn’t look surprised and asked me if I had my receipt & I did. So, I gave it to him and I was mailed a reimbursement check, 3 weeks later. Three weeks had passed and I received a call from Wells Fargo informing me that my payment was late & I was going to be reported to the credit bureau for late payment. Imagine my shock!!! It had been three weeks since I purchased the Acura. I surely knew there must be a mistake! When I signed my finance papers the finance office at Tischer assured me that they would send the pay-off for my Infiniti to Wells Fargo. I called Tischer numerous times and kept getting the run around. So, after 2 days of game playing by the Tischer finance office, I decided to drive there. When I arrived Chu Park was completely clueless, SURPRISE! He asked that I speak with his manager Jean. When I walked into her office Jean acted as if she had no idea what I was in her office for. The gall!!!!! I knew she knew why I was there and I proceed to “let her have it”! Jean is a complete UNPROFESSIONAL, ARROGANT, RUDE manager seriously lacking in people skills. She and her staff caused the payment to Wells Fargo to be late & YES, it has hit my credit report. Jean drafted a letter that she supposedly sent to Wells Fargo so they can remove it. However, I have to do all of the leg work! Image my complete & utter frustration!!!!!! I have purchased many cars and this experience has been an ordeal. I urge car buyers to think long and hard before you do business with Tischer!!! Totally NOT WORTH IT. More
I have owned Jags, BMW, Volvos and Infinitys. This is by far the best service that I have ever received. On Oct. 8 2011 I went in to have my rear wiper serviced. Chris touch on look at it and ask one of the service guys to come over and take care of it. It may have taken two minutes. I asked what do I owe you. He said "nothing, have a nice day". I really appreciated it. He could have had me wait for an hour and charged my some unseenly amount of money, but did not. That is customer service that I will patron from now on. It matters when you can trust the service you receive and that people still value their customers. I went back on an unrelated matter and once again the service and attention to detail was outstanding. I would recommend Tischer to any and every one. More
I was looking for a base model MDX on Thursday, Sept 29. The color scheme was most important.The sale person, Mike told me that Tischer Acura would get me what I was looking for. We worked out a price, got a dollar value on the trade-in, did paperwork, put me in a loaner (MDX Tech)with anticipation of coming in on Friday, Sept 30 to get my new car. I called on Friday morning to see how the search was progressing, and offered additional color schemes that would be acceptable. I told Mike that I would be down after work, and that if things did not work out, I want my keys back. My wife came along for the ride. When we got to the dealership, I was informed that they could not satisfy my request. I explained that if Tischer would meet me on the price of the Tech model, I would buy it. At that point, Bruce, GM came over to where my wife and I were sitting. I said, "Hello buddy." Bruce said, "MY NAME IS BRUCE." I told him he wasted my time, promising something and not delivering, being I lived of an hour away. He told me that I wasted his time, and he inappropriately placed his hand on. I told him to get his hand off me. He then said, "GET THE xxxx OUT OF HERE." I said give me my car keys, and I will. NOTE, this was done in front of other customers. I did tell Bruce that I'll be in a new car on Saturday. I want to correct myself, my wife and I ended up each buying a vehicle (2011 MDX, and 2011 TL) from an Acura dealership in the area. I would never recommend Tischer Acura to anyone while under the leadership of that GM. More
The moment you drive your car into the service garage, the workers are extremely polite and quick to attend to you. You can tell the employees know what they are doing and focused, but friendly and person the workers are extremely polite and quick to attend to you.
