Both times I have worked with Bob Gaudet, and experienced great customer service. Most times I personally do not like to haggle over cost, and prefer to get done to brass tacks immediately after following pleasantries. I worked with Bob again for my second purchase, and after we became reacquainted got right down to business. Bob is a very friendly person and a good read of personality, so it was incredibly easy to work with him. The dealership was able to get the car I was looking at down to a price I could afford, and was able to process all of the paperwork in a timely manner. Consequently I walked out about two hours after arriving with sales paperwork in hand and a delivery date scheduled. This is a dealership that I have greatly enjoyed working with, and am more than willing to come to again. More

When buying a car, I seldom involve a dealership. This is primarily due to the markup factor. As a small business owner, we buy vehicles annually as needed. Twice in the last 4 years, I have purchased from this dealership. Acton Used Car Annex is the exception to my rule. On both occasions, I was able to find exactly the car I wanted to purchase. The price was fair, therefore no need to quibble. In less than 2 hrs, I had purchased the vehicle I wanted at a price I am very happy with. It only took 2 hours due to my test drive lasted 30 minutes. Scott Doherty, internet sales person, was fantastic. My schedule is pretty tight, which meant for me to do business, it would be late hours. Both times I arrived at the dealership within an hour of closing. Scott took the time, patience, and overall professionalism which Acton Toyota is famous for. I would not buy a car from any other dealership. That is how strongly I feel about the way they do business. I recommend them highly, and if you read other reviews about this dealership-this is not an isolated case. Thank you Scott. Wow...Where do I begin? I'll be honest and say I'm a cynical person and think auto dealers are all pretty much all (bad word here). I was at several other dealers in these last 3 weeks as I scoure I'm a cynical person and think auto dealers are all pretty much all (bad word here). I was at several other dealers in these last 3 weeks as I scoured the internet looking for the right car at the right price and it only confirmed what I feel about car dealers (blood s**king vampires). The previous dealer I went to even withheld keys to my own car so I couldn't leave until the 4th time when I DEMANDED my keys back angrily. When I first emailed Acton Toyota, I expected much of the same treatment but they had a Toyota Highlander Hybrid I was interested in. The internet price was fair also. Being the cheapskate that I am, I offered them a lower number than the sale price. Joe Veneziano was the salesman who returned my email. He was upfront, straight forward and most important, I felt he was being HONEST with me. I know a business is in business to make money, I know Joe isn't volunteering there and has a family to feed, I get that. That being said, it's in my best interest to pay as little as possible. I honestly feel bad for grinding Joe for that last buck especially knowing they had done a brake job and 105k service on this vehicle plus it only had 1 previous owner and clean carfax. I can't say enough about Joe. I am ashamed that I gave him such as hard time and regret some of the things I may have said. All that comes from previous experiences with other dealerships. I dont want to say Joe is a complete professional because to me a "professional car salesman" has no ethics. Joe always had a smile, he dealt with a grumpy cynical man and helped me get to where I needed. He didn't talk about how "the dealership would lose money if he went any lower" or have another salesman come by and take the keys for "another customer to test drive" or repackage the numbers to try to confuse me as the previous dealership tried. And I know all those lines are total BS. He was honest and had the willingness to work with me. I really feel he had my back and I wasn't just another $ walking into the dealership to him. Acton Toyota is not just another dealership. I honestly feel they took less for this Hybrid SUV than they could have gotten from someone else but earning a customer for life and doing business the right way is much more important to them. They only had this 1 used Hybrid SUV on the lot so they could have stuck to their price. Their price was more than fair to begin with. I did my research and had been watching online for the last 3 weeks. They definitely earned my respect and my future business. I also want to give a shout out to Steve Augusta(Finance Manager). Again, I dont know who does the hiring here, but WOW! Awesome Amazing people. When Steve was showing me the gap plan, I honestly felt he had my best interest in mind. When I told him I plan on paying off the car in 1 year, he immediately stopped trying to sell the gap plan because it was no longer in my best interest. I KNOW other dealers would have still tried to force that down my throat using scare tactics which would have spiked my spidey senses. I have terrible credit and Steve got me a loan with ZERO fee and less than 10% interest! WOW! The previous loan I got from another dealer's bank was $1,000 fee plus 19% interest! Steve saved me at least $2,000 on the loan itself if I had gone back to the last dealer I bought a car from. I dont know how they can afford to pay this man because I dont see how he made any money on me. I love this Toyota Highlander Hybrid I bought from Acton Toyota and more importantly, they have gained a customer for life enough though they are an hour drive for me. It's so refreshing that they aren't out there to squeeze every last cent out of their customers and understand a customer is worth more if they come back again. I just dont' get why all the other dealerships think pressuring people to pay more for a car they dont really love is an ok way to do business. I put alot of miles on my cars so I see myself trading in my other car by the end of 2014. Maybe the limited version of the Highlander Hybrid next time. More
First went to get in the car i bought for my son, no floor mats and only 1 key. Idrove 3 other camrys there and checked to see if flr mats were in the trunk. The car i bought i didnt check trunk thinking they were there.Gaudet said he would do something for me so i waited to here from him and then emailed him never answered back. I have e-mails that i sent and never got back to me.Then went in to get clocked fixed and told me a new clock was needed because there was power all the way to the clock. Went back to get clock put in and they said needed fuse and moisture was the problem. If thats true why did they say there was power to clock the first time i went. Never heard of only 1 key to a vehicle. More

It wasn't the usual "used car salesman" feel. He was very nice, understood I wanted the best deal. We worked something out pretty quickly. They took care of all the insurance, registration and new plates. Fantastic care buying experience. More
I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealer and this sales person. Each time I have received an excellent value on my purchase. They took the time to show me all the comparable vehicles for sale in the sales person. Each time I have received an excellent value on my purchase. They took the time to show me all the comparable vehicles for sale in the area, explained the differences and showed me that I was getting a top rated car for a reasonable price.They arranged all the necessary paperwork to complete the sale and register the vehicle and delivered the car/ truck to my office with a full tank of gas!!
