I have used this dealership's service department MANY times and have nothing bad to say about them. ALWAYS courteous, informative, and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and want to c times and have nothing bad to say about them. ALWAYS courteous, informative, and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and want to come back. The sales department may be a different story. I went in this dealership on the afternoon of Friday 9/20/13. Dennis was called by the 'front desk' to assist my wife and I with looking at a Pathfinder. I told Dennis that I had been researching a number of SUVs on the internet and that I was out that day to check out the vehicles physically and to test drive, and that I would not be purchasing that day. He then directed us to his desk instead of giving us an overview of the vehicle in the showroom. Pulling out a sheet titled "Sales Agreement" he proceeded to get my contact information, and ask which model Pathfinder I was interested in. While I wasn't too sure, I just said I wanted to test drive one with 4WD and leather interior. He then asked how much I wanted to pay per month. I once again reminded him I was not there to discuss buying as I wanted to determine if this year's Pathfinder would deserve further consideration. He then asked what color I wanted to drive. Is color really important in a test drive? I told him I didn't care. As he got up (annoyed) to go bring a vehicle up for the drive, he asked again what color I wanted and if I wanted on board navigation, to which my wife reminded him that color wasn't a factor for a simple test drive. Dennis then shot back at my wife "I'm just trying to get a car that your husband likes!", and walked off to get a Pathfinder. HOW RUDE! He is very lucky I chose to leave at that point, because nobody needs to talk to my wife that way. Too bad Acme Nissan has Dennis working there. They lost a sale to another dealership. More
I just leased my 3rd car from Acme and have been a customer since '08. Nissan has great incentives that allows me to get out of my lease early and the folks at Acme were very helpful in lowering my p customer since '08. Nissan has great incentives that allows me to get out of my lease early and the folks at Acme were very helpful in lowering my payments on my most recent lease while not having to settle on a cheaper vehicle. Having recently started a family, I am obviously on a budget and they understood my need to keep my payments at an amount I can afford. As long as they stay the way they are I will continue to use Acme. I was disappointed that my usual salesman was no longer there but I worked with Jake and he really went over and beyond to make sure my wife and I were happy. More
so this is an update, unfortunately things went sour quickly again. 900 miles into the new pathfinder and the battery went dead....was told it was a computer settings issue....then just under 1200 miles quickly again. 900 miles into the new pathfinder and the battery went dead....was told it was a computer settings issue....then just under 1200 miles the rear passenger tire blew out the sidewall.....but I purchased the warranty on the tire/rim...thank goodness.....well, when I was speaking to the service manager, Tom, he swore there was no way the tire wall blew out without hitting something....so here's my question to Tom....why would I lie about hitting something when I have a 100% replacement warranty? So this got me thinking should I be concerned with the other 3 tires....so I talk to sales about this....well, they don't want to hear it. Rich, Brian, Jack, Paul (jack and paul are the owners sons) "can't" do anything about it and recommend I call Nissan Corporate. Over the course of the next 2 weeks...yes, I said 2 weeks....I am led to believe the tires would be replaced by the fact I am in constant contact with the service manager Tom and the Corporate Relationship manager, Verta. We even go so far as to have a conversation about which tires I would be comfortable with....well 2 weeks in a rental car that Acme Nissan paid for (approx. $450 from my understanding of rental car rates) Corporate Nissan said they wouldn't replace them and that I have to take this up with the tire company....really? 2 weeks for this? So I go into Acme to pick up the pathfinder and ask for them to sign a release form on what their opinion is on the tires and that they will not replace the tires, both from Acme and from Corporate....they refuse to sign, Lou in sales, and Brian R. is such the car salesman now. I ask him "Brian, when you sold me the car, you said you have a wife and a 2 year old, would you feel comfortable putting YOUR family in this car knowing the tires may be unsafe?" His response...."well, we really shouldn't be talking about this" Nice job guys....ACME TALKS THE TALK about family....we are family owned, we care about family, yadda yadda. well, when it comes time to walk the walk, they turn their back on you.....Nice Job Acme Nissan....by the way, Paul and Jack, the owners sons....my wife works with 2 people they both went to high school with in the North Brunswick area. Those 2 people my wife works with are friends with Paul and Jack on Facebook. They sent them messages to ask for them to help out and their response "yeah, we know who this guy is" .....talk about not caring about your reputation. I hope you all can sleep well at night, I am going to have to pay out of my own pocket to make sure I can and that my family is safe. Good job with a first time Nissan buyer !!! More
I bought a used 2001 Pathfinder and bought it to Tom Bradley for service. He informed me the vehicle had 2 open recalls that required action. Not only did he do the required recalls, he suggested perfor Bradley for service. He informed me the vehicle had 2 open recalls that required action. Not only did he do the required recalls, he suggested performing the 60,000 mile service on it and provided a loaner car. The price was reasonable. Toms knowledge, helpfulness and attitude were second to none. I would reccommend acme nissan service to everyone and I would suggest they see Mr. Tom Bradley. It was a pleasent experience overall. Bought a pre-owned car today coz I had to buy it. Did not want to spend much time on looking for another one. It took total of hours to get the car out the door. Deal was done at 11 am but got the car at 2: want to spend much time on looking for another one. It took total of hours to get the car out the door. Deal was done at 11 am but got the car at 2:45 pm. They did not properly guide us on mode of payment and on adding the insurance on car we bought. I felt that they wanted to sell their finance offer so that they can make more money. Above al these, while I tried negotiating, the sales person got rude stating that we already negotiated price many times. He did not want to go to manager again. Manager came and told us the final price of the car with very bad attitude. All they reduced was only A couple hundred dollars on their Internet price that was because I found some minor defect on car. Otherthen that no price settlement. They knew that we need a car, so their hand was up. Over all I won't suggest if someone is looking for a good customer service. More

We were trying to buy Our Grandson a new car as he was just starting college & needed tranportation to get back & forth from home to college (No Public Tranportation Available). We expected the normal back & forth hassle on price but were surprised that it was less painful than usual. We found out why when we went to pick the car up. They tried to sell us a finance plan & added additional charges for registration & paperwork that was in error, so they wanted more money. When we refused to give them any more money they refunded our deposit & let us leave. The Manager we dealth with when we went to pickup the car was nasty. More
I wish I could spare u all my story but if I do my rating won't be accepted. After a frustrating and expensive week of dealing with these people and Nissan Consumer Affairs they put a key instead of the remo won't be accepted. After a frustrating and expensive week of dealing with these people and Nissan Consumer Affairs they put a key instead of the remote in my Murano's ignition and break it. The service manager Tom gets sarcastic when I asked for it in writing. After 1 hr and 15 minutes of my 4 yr old and 4 month old waiting with me they send me home in the rental car I was returning in the 1st place and we had to move all our stuff back again including car seats. Then they want to charge me for being 2 gallons short of a full tank for $10! They charged me 1 and a half hours of labor for something that takes 15 minutes so either I'm being over charged or their technicians are that incompetent. Can't wait to talk to Consumer Affairs again tomorrow. This is just a piece of what ive had to deal with. NEVER EVER use this place. More
I normally take my vehicles to a local shop and a mechanic I trust, however like most take my vehicle in for warranty work. However, when Acme's service mgr Tom found out he told me to take my Armada mechanic I trust, however like most take my vehicle in for warranty work. However, when Acme's service mgr Tom found out he told me to take my Armada elsewhere for service, the guy is a real DB, he even went as for to tell me my mechanic used the wrong gear oil. And then refused to put any of his statements in writing!!! Stay clear, I will be heading to Nissan Edison from now on, seems from talking with Edison Nissan they understand at times people like to get service by there local town mechanic! More
Lets just say that their service department is way more expensive than other dealers. I was over charged to get my brakes done and get this....they charged me $6.50 for a remote battery. I purchased the expensive than other dealers. I was over charged to get my brakes done and get this....they charged me $6.50 for a remote battery. I purchased the same battery from Windsor Nissan for $3.50. I know it's a small price but that gives you an idea of their pricing. It was double the price. Go somewhere else and save your money. More
i have to say it really depends on who you have to deal with. i made an initial visit only to be discouraged. however i was contacted by Lou N via email and spoke to him personally by phone. a price was with. i made an initial visit only to be discouraged. however i was contacted by Lou N via email and spoke to him personally by phone. a price was agreed upon and i made my way back to the dealership. Granted i was a bit skeptical because many dealers use a tactic just to get you in. However Acme Nissan really stepped up this time. I went in and was given another salesman (brian R.). Brian knew his stuff and was really easy to deal with. Bravo to the combination of Lou N and Brian R. Jack in Finance was also Awesome. He explained all options was very friendly, and did not push to add warranties. I hope these guys are there the next time i decide to purchase a vehicle. More
