I purchased a 2022 Honda Civic with 32k/mi in late February. I have been having issues with this car since and I am fed up with this Dealership. For one, the whole right side of my car was swiped, have photos of it before I even took it off the lot. Promised BODY WORK ON IT, never got it and this swiped was never reported. Which means it happened ON THE LOT My very first issue was within the same month of purchase which was the battery, car shut complete down and I'm on the side of the rode. $271 to get it towed back to them, yes I did get reimbursed but car shutting down less than 1 month of purchase was a sign THEN. After that, need an oil change in early March, why was this not done in the beginning when car was purchased in February? My next issue was getting a replacement tire in the front right because it was already torn to begin with, I handled that. The AUTOSTART does not work anymore which means it may be the battery, they tried to tell me its the weather but I tested it on the week of 4th of July, RAINING ALL WEEK AND STILL NO AUTO START. I bring it up there to them AGAIN TODAY because the FRONT LEFT TIRE SMELLS LIKE STRAIGHT BURNING RUBBER and the Mechanics back there grouped up and laughing, DOING NOTHING and now they can't see my car today??? Straight bullsh*t, they are mad because I'm not being nice anymore. I'm SO FED UP WITH THIS CAR! All these issues in less than a 4 MONTH SPAN, is absolutely unacceptable and absurb. Because what you all won't do is sell me a lemon and tell me it's common curiosity to do any repair when it should have been done before I drove it off the lot. The name of the business speaks for itself, try your luck if you want too but make sure you check everything and get a promising letter. No time for a TOW within the same month of purchasing the vehicle. Tried to work with them but they like to run game and I got GOT but best believe I will be filing a form out with the State of Maryland. Before making the trip, I secured financing through my lender and arrived with a cashier’s check in hand. The truck was within my budget, so I was fully prepared to complete the purchase that day. Once I arrived, instead of being helped with the truck I came to buy, I spent a significant amount of time being shown other vehicles and encouraged to consider different options. Eventually, I was told the truck I traveled there for had already been sold. What makes this even more frustrating is that the truck is still listed as available on the dealership’s website, even though I was told it had already been sold. As of the time I’m writing this review, the listing remains active. I ended up wasting roughly six hours of driving, fuel, and valuable personal time for a vehicle that I was told was available before I made the trip. Fortunately, I purchased a truck from another dealership, where the process was straightforward and professional. My advice to anyone considering AMKO Auto is to be extremely cautious before traveling a long distance. If you’re making a special trip for a specific vehicle, get written confirmation that the vehicle is physically on the lot and available for purchase before you leave home. My experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this dealership based on how my visit was handled. More

Do not sign the paper that "waives" your right to a warranty. In Maryland cars can only be sold as is if the car is over 6 years old AND over 60k miles. regardless they will ignore request for issues warranty. So as many other people have dealt with these in much the same way, I bought a truck from the temple Hill location a 2014 Chevy Silverado the same day I purchased the truck upon driving home the vehicle stal same way, I bought a truck from the temple Hill location a 2014 Chevy Silverado the same day I purchased the truck upon driving home the vehicle stalled and died then as soon as you turned it back over, it would shake uncontrollably I had to spend over $300 to have it towed back to them only to find out the warranty that was supposed to cover that tow only covers $100 of it but here it is I called them for a week before having it towed to get information about what I was supposed to do as they provided me no paperwork upon purchasing the truck after them having it for a week after that, I called to get an update I was told it was done and ready for pick up only to get there and find it still on a lift in the shop. Then I was told they would take care of me and all they’ve done is give me one headache after another and one excuse and lie after another still really wonder how a place like this is a business More

Not because of any other reason than these ignoramuses just don't give a crap. The sales scam is drawing people in with "Karla". I have had 4 different people tell me they were Karla. First manager was supposedly named Kevin. He sold me junk, took my trade in and left it to rot for months on their lot and blamed me for it. I had to drive 3 hrs back to the dealership and buy the car out cash to get rid of it. Cost me an extra 20k. Then Kevin said he did not work there anymore. Victor was the next scam artist at the temple hill location to ghost me and not call back or respond after he assured me he would. I have expired tags on my vehicle and no one responds for an update. I have literally called hundreds of times since June. If you would like a similar experience, roll the dice and grab a vehicle from Amko. Total classless losers. This place is a complete cesspool. My fiance might as well be an employee at this point because he is always back at this dealership. First vehicle sold eventually ended up with the engine being locked after 24 hours of having it. The second vehicle to replace this one was never inspected, brakes and rotors were bad, tires were bad. I told him to stay away!!!! Then two days before the temp tag expires, noone knows anything over the phone. He goes up there and the car has to inspected a second time which it ends up needing rear brakes which they lied about them being put on two weeks ago. They are dishonest and getting these raggedy cars from auctions without properly inspecting them before selling that at ridiculous prices. Just because people may be new to get a car financed or may need second chance financing doesn't give you the right to take complete advantage. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! I will be moving forward with my complaint with documentation. More

Three weeks ago I bought a Yukon Denali within the first week of purchase. The check engine light came on. I took it back to Amko auto And they said they would fix it. The gas tank was empty and within a mile driving out of the dealership the check engine light came back on and when it Diagnosed the same issue came up within the next 2 miles my service suspension system alarm came on I’m putting it back in the shop again I would not recommend this place More
