Dear cvemery, My name is Jim Slezak and I am the General Manager of Team Ford Marietta. Team Ford of Marietta participates in the DealerRater.com Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater.com review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. I would like to open a dialogue with you either via email, phone or in person which ever suits you best. Please either respond to this email or call the dealership at 770-422-1100 and ask for Jim Slezak and the operator will transfer you to my cell phone. Sincerely; Jim

Mr. Slezak, I prefer to communicate via email. My message is a toned down version of what has transpired between myself and your dealership. Based upon all of the issues, I am confident that will be the last transaction between us. I do not conduct business with someone with whom I have no trust. I do not have to accept sub-par service, or keep subjecting myself to it. The saga continues as the service manager calls me today for an update......a little late since I picked my vehicle up yesterday. The vehicle was in your shop for 8 days, why weren't the issues resolved then? At this point - you can stick a fork in me and call me well done. I don't know how anyone can live in the fantasy world that a few words will change someone else's opinion. I guess it comes from the high pressured sales environment. I certainly do not appreciate it. Regards, Ms. Carolyn Emery

ALM Ford Marietta responded

Ms. Emery It appears by your tone and sarcasm there is no hope of resolving any issues that you may have. I am sorry that you feel the way you do but by all accounts your vehicle was repaired and repaired properly. In reviewing the repair orders and taking into account the fact that you were out of town I dont think the actual repair time was excessive. The reason that my Service Manager called you was because he promised that he would. He checked with a Ford engineer regarding your transmission and he had additional information to share with you. I will instruct him not to bother you in the future and to cease any communication from this day forward. With regards to Dealer Rater I guess I will send my rebuttal when the complaint becomes formal. I am sorry we have failed to meet your expectations in the service we provided. I will consider this matter closed. Sincerely, James Slezak

Mr. Slezak, My demeanor with you and your dealership has resulted as a result of what has transpired. I was out of town, as I was attending a college graduation. It worked for my schedule and your dealership's. I had returned, came to your dealership and my vehicle was not presented to me as repaired, however, when I got in to drive away discovered, in fact the navigation and GPS systems were inoperable. That is a fact documented in your records. I have no issue of accepting responsibility for my actions, so yes I used sarcasm and a tone with you. I am accountable for that. For your notification, I will be contacting Team, to receive a refund for services that I will not be receiving in the future from your dealership. I had purchased a pre-service agreement when obtaining my vehicle. Do note I did not name names or use sarcastic manner to describe in which the way events transpired. I used that with you to vent my frustrations. Regards Ms. Emery
