Be Aware We purchased our car on Saturday, 5/27/17. 1) The salesman was with us for the test drive and only allowed us to drive about 5 minutes and not on the We purchased our car on Saturday, 5/27/17. 1) The salesman was with us for the test drive and only allowed us to drive about 5 minutes and not on the road nearby to go 55 mph. When I turned to go that way he said that the traffic would be bad and just to go right and see how it handled on a slow curvy road. After we purchased it and started it to drive off of the lot we heard a knocking noise like a strut and returned to the office before ever leaving the lot. Herschel, our salesman, took us to the repair garage there and a mechanic test drove it. He said it definately was knocking, but they did not have time to look at it until Tuesday, 05/30/17 as it was Memorial weekend. I wanted to return the car but the general manager, Shawn Loydman, said that they would fix it free of charge if we would come back Tuesday afternoon. I was hesitant but we agreed. When we returned Tuesday we were told that it just needed to be adjusted. We test drove it and, once again, did not hear it on that test drive. Of course the noise returned, within a week's time. Mechanics say that you don't "adjust" a strut. We don't know what they did do to "fix it" but it appears that nothing was fixed. We contacted the dealership with no resolution. 2) We were told that they would run our credit and based on that score we would get a loan with a better rate than the standard 7.99%. When we didn't buy the extra car repair insurance being offered the loan officer was short and rude. We paid $4000 and needed to borrow $5000. We wanted a 2 yr loan but he set it up for 4 yrs at 7.99% although we found out our credit score was 846!!! He said we could make double payments to pay it off in 2 years and we could refinance it at a lower rate. So we went ahead with the loan. But when we applied for a new loan the Loan To Value was too high, even after paying $4000! I guess we didn't get such a good price for our vehicle. We like the car, but would not recommend this dealership. More

Unfortunately, my car was totaled and I was in need of a new car last month, I called Bobby and he took care of the rest. Not only did he locate the same type car, same color, a newer year vehicle, and monthly payments are less. What more could I want from a sales person. In addition, he calls and checks on you after the purchase. Bobby is not the only person that work miracles at AutoNation Ford Marietta, the whole team; Finance Manager and Store Manager were wonderful. Horrible experience Took my truck in to get a compression test and when I picked it up, I couldn't drive it. I sat there for an hour with service manager going back and f Took my truck in to get a compression test and when I picked it up, I couldn't drive it. I sat there for an hour with service manager going back and forth about fixing my truck as it was when I drove it in. They did not want to admit fault and I wouldn't leave until we had a resolution to this issue. They fixed a mistake they made but it was very inconvenient for me, lost my truck for another day and didn't get it till the end of day. No since of urgency to get my truck repaired. I will never recommend this service department. It was horrible More
Ignored Went to to check on a problem of painting peeling off my 2015 Expedition. No greeter when I arrived and stood around for about 10 mins before a Service Rep offered to help. She looked at my paint and said I needed to talk to "Kevin" and pointed me to an empty cubicle. Waited another 10 to 15 min and no one showed up. Asked once employees walking by if he knew where Kevin was and he just ignored me. Asked a second employee the same and he just shrugged his shoulders. I just gave up and left. I have been to AutoNation Ford twice before for service and both of those times the "greeting" or lack thereof was about the same. But this time, I just got tired of waiting and left. More
Not As Advertised! Deceptive! After a lot of time researching vehicles, we found a vehicle online that we were interested in. The listing on several websites and also on the owner After a lot of time researching vehicles, we found a vehicle online that we were interested in. The listing on several websites and also on the owner's website listed the vehicle as "Ford Certified Preowned". I went through a sales associate trying to get info. After receiving a lower price from the sales associate, I asked to verify the vehicle was "Ford Certified". I was told no, it was only inspected by their company. I tried to strike a deal with the sales associate and also the Internet Manager. The deal breaker was they advertised incorrectly and was not willing to step up and work out an agreement or discount toward having it certified. I was pretty much told by the Internet Manager that they had removed the wording from their websites, and the price I was given was discounted due to it not being certified. Basically, take it or leave it. I told him I had the listing printed on paper and actually I was given the lower price before the conflict came up in conversation. Later I found the lower price is on a Click Now Button to get the lowest AutoNation price. It was never an adjusted price for anything. It was their advertised price. I talked with the Internet Manager more than once and received no help at all. He informed me more than once the listing had been revised to remove the incorrect wording. Days later, the listing was still the same! They never even changed their own website! I tried to contact the General Manager of the company several times and on different days, but he was always out to lunch (late in the afternoon), not back from lunch, or not in the office. Vehicle was not as advertised and the company seems very deceptive. I guess they really don't need the business! After this, I will never attempt to deal with an AutoNation anywhere again. It was a total waste of time and effort! More
