Terrible experience! ! I was in the market for a new F-150 4x4 XLT in Antimatter Blue. After finding the exact truck I was looking for at ALM Ford in Marietta. I compl ! I was in the market for a new F-150 4x4 XLT in Antimatter Blue. After finding the exact truck I was looking for at ALM Ford in Marietta. I completed the credit application and valued my trade all through links on the ALM site. I received a confirmation email indicating approval. I then called the dealership, talked to a person who identified themself as the internet sales manager who confirmed everything was set and made an appointment to drive up and get the truck the next day. I live in Warner Robins so the drive was two hours without traffic. The day of the appointment I called the dealership again and confirmed everything was still good. Arrived at the dealership and was told by the salesperson the truck was no longer there but they had one like it which turned out to be nothing like the one I wanted. I knew it was there because I had parked next to it but it had personal property in it like a baby seat. I pointed this out and then was told the general manager was driving it. I was then told they would still sell it to me, so I agreed to consider it depending on the deal considering the truck had 1900 miles on it. He brought the work sheet, and it had $1295 extra listed for ALM VIP club whatever that is. Additionally, they added $3998 for paint protection film, $999 for Paint and fab, $2299 for dealer installed options and $1366 for fees. The selling price per the ALM web page was supposed to be $51,467 but they tried to charge me $55217 before all the extra stuff. When I valued my trade the price was $22 to 23K which is what other ford dealerships had offered and what five-star ford in stone mountain ended up giving me for my 2019 Silverado LTZ. ALM only wanted to give me $16K. I ask to speak to the GM and was told he wasn't there but the truck he was driving was. Needless to say, no deal was made. On my drive home I was called by the salesperson and was told they had just received a truck exactly like the one i was looking for, he said he would send me the information on it but I never heard another word from him. Ended up buying the truck I wanted from Five Stare Ford Stone Mountain. They were professional and I got a very fair deal. More

My temporary tag expired in December, leaving me with a car that I cannot legally drive—all because this dealership has refused to fulfill its most basic legal obligation. This is not just poor customer service. This is potentially illegal. Under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 40-3-32), a dealer must file the vehicle title within 30 days of sale. ALM Ford of Marietta has completely failed to do this, violating my rights as a consumer and state law. Their failure to deliver on services I have already paid for—including title, tax, and registration fees—could also violate the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-390). To make matters worse, no one at this dealership has even attempted to contact me to fix this issue. No updates, no apologies, no accountability—just complete silence. I have called repeatedly, only to be met with endless delays, excuses, or voicemail boxes that are full. I have already drafted formal complaints with the Georgia Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division (DOR), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Georgia Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. If ALM Ford of Marietta does not resolve this immediately, I will file those complaints and escalate further—including legal action if necessary. Think twice before buying from this dealership. If they can’t even handle a basic legal requirement like filing a title, imagine the nightmare you’ll face if you have a serious issue with your car. Save yourself the time, stress, and legal trouble—buy from a dealership that actually follows the law. More
