We took our chances and went to Cochran on a Saturday afternoon. Harry and David managed the impossible! They got us financing with a better rate than my credit union quoted us AND we drove out of the dealership with a 2014 Subaru Outback by Monday afternoon. One of the most amazing examples of exemplary customer service was the fact that the gentleman who found us the financing actually went back after we were approved (and ready to sign) and got us a better interest rate than we were initially quoted. Even after the sale was completed, Harry took the time to sit with us in our new car and show us how everything worked before we drove the car off the lot. Cochran Subaru really is the best! More

Cochran Subaru was by far the most pleasant to deal with on the phone. They even suggested that I make sure that Cochran was not the only dealership that I visited, so that I could compare prices as well as experience. I did not have a bad experience at the other dealership, but Cochran was definitely a step above. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated with respect and Harry Gosnell helped us purchase the car that we wanted. He gave us all the information on the vehicle and even stayed late with us while he was helping us through the process. He really took a stressful situation, in my eyes, and made it enjoyable. I would highly recommend going to see Harry at #1 Cochran Subaru. More
2015 Subaru WRX Purchase Experience I had the pleasure of working with both Harry and Jeff recently. Last month I put an order in for the new 2015 Subaru WRX. Being that this was my firs I had the pleasure of working with both Harry and Jeff recently. Last month I put an order in for the new 2015 Subaru WRX. Being that this was my first new car purchase and being a young recent graduate, I was worried the dealership would not take me seriously but both Harry and Jeff were excellent! From the very beginning they were both very professional but more importantly excited about my upcoming first car purchase. Harry explained everything in great detail about the purchasing process and was both very helpful and knowledgable. Jeff was very quick about placing the order with Subaru and even provided me a VON# so I could track my car being built with Subaru. Recently I took delivery of my new car and again everything was very enjoyable. Harry called me as soon as my new car arrived at the dealership and had the car washed, waxed, and ready to go the very next day! At the end of the purchase he was even kind enough to show me how all the new electronics worked in my car including setting up my bluetooth phone, showing me how to program contact information, as well as explaining all the cool new features my new Subaru has. If anyone is in thinking about buying a Subaru or thinking about placing an order in for the new WRX go see Harry Gosnell and Jeff Gessler! They are the two best car salesmen at the best dealership in Pittsburgh! More

I worked with Rich, who gave me all of the information needed, was able to give me more on my trade-in than the other 3 Subaru dealers I talked to, and let the decision up to me. I ended up buying the BRZ that day, as Rich was able to get the price down to a figure that would make me jump (another thing that other dealers weren't even willing to ask their sales managers to do). I also receive email reminders on inspections and oil changes. I have yet to be in for service, as I wasn't able to drive the BRZ much this winter. For anyone looking for a Subaru, I would highly recommend their service. More

I had tried a few other dealers in the Pittsburgh area and was pushed towards a sale I did not like. I had moved across town from Cochran, but thought let's give them another try. I had purchased two Saturns off of them several years back. I was very glad to see Anna Johns was still there. She can make your buyer experience very positive. She is kind, polite and in no way a pushy person. She is very knowledgeable about all the vehicles she sells. And if she might be unsure about a question, she will get the correct answer for you pronto. Cochran was giving a great deal. They were selling their Subarus' for lower then MSRP and $1000.00 over Edmund's trade in value on my truck. I wanted a bare bones Forester and Anna did not try to talk me into anything more pricey. She did not talk down to me and did not do any of that, "Well let me take this into my boss and see what we can do." crap. Cochran has this cool policy. It is called "CLEAR CUT PRICING". The price is the price. Boom Simple. She found me the one I wanted and ordered it to be delivered. The day it came Anna could not be there but she had Ron Riggle meet with us and he was a great help. He Made sure everything went smoothly with the sale and even cleaned all the snow off of our car. I can't remember the name of the man who did all the paper work but he was also really nice and friendly. There service is great and they wash your car anytime you bring it in for work. Now that's just nice. More

At the appointment Jeff and Ron had the car waiting out front for the test drive, then Ron and Dave walked me through the trade-in and financing, I signed my name a bunch of times, and I was off in my new car. Bottom-line: they had exactly what they said they'd have, treated me fairly on my trade-in and the price of the car, were very friendly, and, most importantly to me -- there were no surprises, high-pressure pitches for extra warranties, or any of the stereotypical hassles of buying a car. Sure, they have an extended warranty but it was explained to me simply and when I said "No, thanks," that was that. More

I was back in the new car market after 23.5 years. Ron took me for an extensive test drive which allowed me to see how nicely the car drove. Ron and Jeff answered my questions in a very straightforward manner. The whole experience was very pleasant, and I never felt under any pressure to close the deal quickly. Dave was very efficient in completing the final arrangements. I was very happy with my experience with #1 Cochran. I frankly was not really looking forward to the experience of getting a new car after so many years, but Ron, Jeff and Dave made the experience quite easy and pleasant. I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation. More
