Took my vehicle for transmission work that was covered under warranty. Had additional work done to pass inspection. It turned out to be a nightmare as the work performed was far from satisfactory. I contacted them and they jumped into action to rectify all of my complaints. They ended up refunding me for the work and were extremely apologetic for what happened. I am very happy with the outcome of it all and give them the utmost credit for coming through for me. I went from never going there ever again to I will now due to the experience of them writing a wrong. Kudos to Cochran for doing the right thing…… More
In February 2010, on my way to work, my 2001 Subaru Outback broke down. I had a tow truck haul it and me to #1 Cochran Subaru in Monroeville. Once the mechanic checked it over, I was told that it would cost a lot of money to have it repaired. I had a choice to make. I loved my "Crocodile Dundee" Subaru Outback and didnt want to let it go!!! After talking with my sister-in-law, a friend, and the Service Technicians, I made the decision to buy a new car. The Service Technicians were so nice. I couldn't stop crying, so they bought me lunch and checked in on me throughout the day to make sure that I was doing okay. That's how I came to own a 2010 Subaru Forester. Two Saturdays ago my check engine light, cruise control light, and another light came on. I raced to #1 Cochran Subaru and the Service Technician, Cheyne Brooks, checked it out and said it was okay until he could get me in and have a loaner car ready for me. Yesterday, Monday, October 24, 2022, was the day for me to take my car in to get it checked out. Before I left in my loaner car, a 2022 Forester, I went in to talk to a sales person that I had met months ago, Jamie Bergamasco. I met Jamie when I had stopped in to see if I could get a look at the new Outback Wilderness. I did get to see one and the price tag!!! Jamie remembered me and my name from that day many months ago. I had decided to be proactive regarding my car, rather than reactive. We sat down and talked for awhile. I explained what I needed and why. He listened to me and took a lot of notes. About an hour later, Cheyne called to tell me what was wrong with my car. I listened to him, but I didn't hear what he was saying. What I heard was that it was going to cost me $820.00 then and then a couple of months later I would have to pay around $920.00 for the 150,000 mile maintenance service. After many conversations with my sister-in-law, talking through my options, I decided that the best course of action was to buy a new car. I went back to talk with Jamie regarding my decision. He took the rest of the day helping me to find the right used car for my needs. Jamie made a very stressful process for me less stressful, for which I will always be grateful. I ended up buying a 2018 Quartz Blue Pearl Subaru Forester. I want to thank Cheyne Brooks, a master Service Technician, for all of his assistance on Monday and for all the previous years (and all the coming years). Cheyne, you are the best!!! I want to thank and recommend Jamie Bergamasco, Sales Person Extraordinaire, for his dedication to his job. Left a message with service department asking for clarification on what service was required for my 4 year-old Subaru. No one called me back. I went to the service department anyway. The maintenance service menu is far from transparent. I was advised to get a ~$500 maintenance service bundle. What it included was not exactly clear. My car was finished in 1-1/4 hours. Seems like an outrageous cost for services which involved mostly labor and replacing some fluids, including oil. The service manager sent me an email to check that everything was ok. I asked him a question regarding how to interpret one of the reports I was given on the maintenance status of my car. He never responded. Non-responsiveness seems to be the norm at this dealership. I have received multiple emails asking if I am interested in selling or trading in my current car. I've clicked yes twice. Never received a response to either request. I did browse the Cochran Subaru website a few months back. I did not enter any information into their website. I was just looking. A few minutes later, I received a call from the dealership asking if I had any questions. That they were tracking me and were brazen enough to call me without my permission after simply browsing their website was a bit disturbing. More
We recently bought a Subaru Ascent and had a great experience with every person we worked with. We were able to get exactly what we wanted! I called for an inspection and recalled repairs which was done in record time !! Connor Williams suggested that I get a 60K mile checkup. I asked if there were any coupons I could use & he said there may be done in record time !! Connor Williams suggested that I get a 60K mile checkup. I asked if there were any coupons I could use & he said there may be one 10% off. The 60K checkup was done & the basic CHECKUP was $953.47 . I was shocked at the final bill & that no discount coupons were taken off my bill. i would recommend the service but GET A PRICE FIRST!!! More

Bad experience! After valuing my car at much less than it’s trade in value, I was asked to fill out a form to get pre-qualified for an auto loan. I made it clear I did not want a hard inquiry on my credit report and I was assured it would only be a soft pull for a pre-qualification. Fast forward a few weeks and I’m receiving multiple letters that my credit was pulled and Credit Karma notified me that my score dropped a lot due to this! I attempted to reach out to the sales person and have had no returned calls. I am very angered by this and would recommend them to no one! What they did is illegal, and I plan to take further legal action if necessary. More

Usually I would have the inspection done elsewhere but because the brake light was likely a wiring issue and the fact that there were recalls I decided to have my vehicle serviced here. I dropped the car off Friday night and had service scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 am. I received a call from I believe Tyler? at about 10:30 am Saturday stating that my car had passed the inspection and was ready for pickup. When I arrived via lyft they informed me that the brake light was in fact working and had me sign some paperwork and gave me my keys. To my surprise, the inspection stickers had not been updated. I went back inside and asked them if they had completed the state inspection. They informed me that they had instead done a multipoint inspection. They pulled out the envelope on which I checked the box for State inspection with a sharpie. The check was clearly visible. The employees simply stated that "they must have missed that". They attempted to deflect the blame onto me saying I had made my appointment incorrectly online (not true). They said that since they had to pull up my car it somehow threw everything off. Meanwhile the envelope so clearly had everything written out and indicated. They did not offer to resolve the situation in any way. I was furious and could not believe the service department's incompetency. I decided to leave and what do you know, my left turn signal was still blinking rapidly. Apparently they did not fix the brake light either! This was the worst experience I have ever had when trying to get my car inspected. The lack of attention to detail displayed by Tyler and the service department was laughable. Again if I could give 0/5 stars I would. More
