Over all everything was great. Mitch was very respectful in giving us the time we needed to look at the vehicles and to make a decision on one at almost closing time. He also stayed after closing time to ma in giving us the time we needed to look at the vehicles and to make a decision on one at almost closing time. He also stayed after closing time to make the sale complete and that meant so much to us to be able to leave with a vehicle that day. Most people do not want to wait on you when it is almost closing time, but Mitch did and I appreciate that so much. I would recommend Sweeney and also recommend Mitch Hulvalchick! Thank you! More
Got an 05 Van with 37k miles before purchasing we took it out and it was nice quite ride.... Took it home that night, on way home Breaks started squeaking when using them and ABS and Brake lights come on a out and it was nice quite ride.... Took it home that night, on way home Breaks started squeaking when using them and ABS and Brake lights come on and off a few times. also found out A/C was not working, Called Sweeney they said lets make an appointment so we can "Take care of it" got appointment for 2 Days later, Before taking it in we took it for a longer ride, about 35 min. away, it started to smell Hot and smoke/steam started to come from front tire area... Stopped popped hood and could not see anything wrong, decided to head back home... Took it in for the appointment, they charged they A/C checked Breaks Bobby in service said they wanted to keep it overnight to insure A/C is good and to look at Breaks again because they are not sure what is wrong with them yet...Next day Jeff Campbell(our salesman) calls and said Van is ready, he said Breaks are new, I asked who replaced them he stated Sweeney's had replaced them before they put it on the lot, I asked what was the squeaking we are hearing is from "Cheap Breaks", that they should have ceramic breaks so they don't squeak.... and they would put them on at cost 200.00. I have 3 sons that will be looking for cars in very near future sand Sweeney's will not be a place visited..... BUYER BEWARE HERE... More
We showed up an hour before closing for a scheduled test drive of a vehicle I found online. We were handed the keys to take the vehicle on a test drive. Everything started off okay. The dealer answered some drive of a vehicle I found online. We were handed the keys to take the vehicle on a test drive. Everything started off okay. The dealer answered some questions about the vehicle and gave us some information about the dealerships engine warranty that is included on all of their vehicles, as long as you complete all of your service at their shop. I made an offer of $15k plus my car, which was valued at around $1500, making this a total of $16,500 out the door. Dealer submitted my offer to the higher ups, which was turned down. Instead of discussing a counter offer, the dealer spent the next 30 minutes or so talking about how great the dealer warranty on the engine was. Keep in mind the dealership was about to close at this point, so this felt like a lot of wasted time to me, especially considering the warranty automatically comes with it, so its not like he was trying to sell it. I finally interrupted to make another offer. The vehicle was listed around $18,500, so I said "since I offered $16,500 and it's listed at $18,500, how about we meet in the middle at $17,500". He submitted the offer, and it was eventually accepted at $17,800 out the door, and everything from that point on was rushed. I felt like they finally realized what time it was and we were being pushed out the door. We went to talk to the finance guy to sign all of the paper work, and somehow, my offer of $17,800 "out the door," magically turned into $17,800 PLUS my trade in, (which they upped the estimated value to around $1,800). So this means that when you factor in the value of my trade in, basically instead of $17,800 out the door, i ended up paying about $19,600 (or paying $17,800 and giving them my car for free). Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until I got home. The "$17,800" number was stuck in my head, so when they told me to write the check for that amount, I completely forgot about my car, and the fact that it was supposed to be factored in to the amount. But too late, I already signed the papers. The finance guy tried, not one, but FOUR TIMES to get me to finance after I had already stated I wasn't interested in financing. The paper work was also messed up - had the wrong mileage listed, which I had to catch because the finance guy had no idea and the dealer apparently wrote it down wrong. To top all of this off, the vehicle I purchased came with a nail in one of the tires (which explained the low pressure light that was on in the dashboard), a disconnected hose in the rear windsheild wiper that connects to the fluid, and only 5 gallons of gas, despite the fact that the car I traded in had at least half a tank if not 3/4 of a tank. But "company policy" is that they only put 5 gallons of gas in the vehicles that they sell, apparently no matter what. To be fair, I must state that I do love my new vehicle. It only cost an extra $4 in wasted air before I realized there was a nail in the tire. The tire repair only cost me an extra $15, gas cost me an extra $40, and I still haven't gotten the wiper thing fixed. The place I go to for inspections didn't want to touch it since it's still under warranty for a few more thousand miles. I'll have to go to a dealership for that one. But everything else seems to be in good shape. More
After talking with 2 other dealerships in the area I got the pleasure of talking with Rick Layman about the new car I wanted to purchase. Unlike the others Rick was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and the pleasure of talking with Rick Layman about the new car I wanted to purchase. Unlike the others Rick was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and not your typical "pushy" salesman. He is willing to sit down and talk and listen to you about what you are looking for and not what they want you to buy. I will definately go to Rick for my next car. Daniel Parkers knowledge of the vehicle to be able to show you all the new features of your new car and make sure you are comfortable in using them is exceptional. More

I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Cruze. I was assisted by Greg Protich, Jimmy, and the young gentleman that goes over the vehicle after purchase. The guys listed above worked hard to place me in my Cruze by Greg Protich, Jimmy, and the young gentleman that goes over the vehicle after purchase. The guys listed above worked hard to place me in my Cruze and I am grateful for their assistance. I did have a service issue following the purchase wherein my windshield had to be replaced. Greg made sure this was addressed and while I don't know the names of the guys in Service, they as well did a wonderful job. I do need to place a service call soon to work out a few remaining bugs but I have no doubt that all my concerns will be handled as promptly and professionally as my prior experiences were handled. Ray was very knowledgeable with all of the vehicles. He worked out numbers on all three vehicles for me. Ray was very helpful and courteous. He patiently answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. He is definitely an asset to the Sweeney Team. Mike Moore explained throughly and clearly each document involved with the transaction. Mike also was very courteous and professional while making me feel very comfortable. Bob Parker assisted with showing all the features of my new Malibu. He is very good in his position, again also being helpful and courteous. All three gentlemen are excellent representatives for the Sweeney team. More
