I was told by Nick, apparently in charge of the service department, that he would have the turn signal in the mirror replaced at no charge since it was defective when I purchased the van and I reported it department, that he would have the turn signal in the mirror replaced at no charge since it was defective when I purchased the van and I reported it the morning after I picked the vehicle up. He told me that there was no problem, that he would not charge me and bill the repair to his sales department. He jokingly said that sales was his best customer. When I picked the van up the problem ws not corrected and I was told that it would not be. I was flat out lied to. This is a failure to correct a safety issue; the van should never have been allowed to leave the shop for delivery in that condition. This deceit by Nick in service completely negated the good experince I had buying the van. Peter in sales and Erika in finance made the process smooth and easy; Peter was honest and forthcoming, and managed to take the sleaze out of buying a used car at a dealer. Nick in service managed to put the sleaze right back into my dealer experience. Nice job, Nick. That said my overall experience in the service department was beyond excellent. I was greeted and logged in by Erica, who logged me in quickly and efficiently. A.J. took my complaints and generated a service order quite promptly. Jennifer arranged my loaner and treated me with courtesy, friendliness and respect. Nicely run operation, missing only one thing - integrity on the part of service management. I would not at this point return for paid repair work at Armory, especially considering that Lia has a CJD dealership not far up the road. Is Lia any better? I have no idea, but at least they have not lied to me yet :) More
