I feel like I was taken on this truck that I bought at Fred Anderson Chevrolet. I haven't had it a month and having problems with it. The #3 coil pack went out the 3rd week I had it. I purchased a truck from Fred Anderson Chevrolet in Greer, SC about a month ago, and the experience has been frustrating from the start. The vehicle clearly had not been properly serviced before the sale. Just two weeks later, I had to bring it back due to transmission issues. When I returned it, I was told it could take over a month just to get a diagnostic, and there were no loaner vehicles available until June 30th. Meanwhile, I was left without transportation or any sense of urgency from the dealership. I called multiple times trying to reach someone for an update and got no response. I finally had to go in person just to get Alex to respond to me — only then did I hear anything. Even then, nothing was resolved. The only option presented was to trade me into a car with more miles and a higher payment than my current truck, all because of the truck’s rapid depreciation — a situation caused by mechanical issues that were already present when they sold it to me. To be clear, this review is not a reflection of the sales rep, Wofford, who did everything he could to help me. He was professional and understanding throughout, but unfortunately, he was limited in what he could do. This experience has been unacceptable. From the lack of transparency and communication to the unwillingness to take accountability, I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone. If you buy a vehicle here, make sure it’s been thoroughly inspected — and don’t expect much help if something goes wrong after you drive off the lot More
