Visited Saturday afternoon to look at a used Cadillac. Nobody working lot and had time to view unit without attack. Walked around to track down salesperson and ask for card. We discussed using his email and he would be in office at 11am Sunday. Followed up with two offers. One as-is and other with items needing repair. (Commonly called due slip) nothing …. Midday wife followed up and provided number to touch us immediately. We offered to make 10k deposit to assure purchase and even do minor financing as needed to help them with profit. Dealer already has hefty prep fee (just under a grand) and huge markup for tag services at over 500. We were still inclined to accept. Nothing … Monday at 1pm and not even the courtesy of decline. Dealer appears to need a true client self service and sales option. Dropping a commission into any one’s hand should be considered a free win. Not here however …. Update : so we had the pleasure to work with the sales manager, what was the sales manager’s name Will Allen and Ricardo. They were available, helpful and transparent. They were the type of individuals we want to not only purchase a car, but also refer business. Wife cannot wait for her new SUV. More
