I am extremely disappointed with how this service visit was handled. I originally brought my Bronco Sport in because of multiple warning messages. I was told the vehicle was fine, and based on that reassurance I authorized approximately $1,200 in preventative maintenance while the vehicle was already at the dealership. Only afterward, while the vehicle was still there, the warnings returned and I was told the AWD module had an internal fault and needed replacement. I authorized another $1,275 repair because I was told that was the diagnosed problem. I ultimately paid approximately $2,700 before getting the vehicle back. On my first drive after pickup, the charging-system warning returned. I immediately contacted the dealership and brought the vehicle back. I have now been told the generator/alternator needs replacement for approximately another $1,800. What frustrates me most is the sequence. I authorized significant optional preventative maintenance because I had been told the vehicle was fine. If I had known there was still a major unresolved problem, I would have prioritized that money toward repairing the vehicle instead. I am now in the position of having spent approximately $2,700 and being unable to afford the additional repair the dealership says the vehicle needs. I also found communication throughout this process frustrating and had to repeatedly push for explanations and diagnostic documentation. Regardless of whether the AWD module and generator ultimately both required replacement, I do not feel this process gave me the information I needed to make informed decisions about where to spend my money. I picked up the vehicle believing the problem had been addressed and immediately found that it had not been. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in this service department. More

Normally I give this service center a high review. This time I can't. My car was picked up for service and once that was done, I got a call saying the work was completed and my car was ready to be r This time I can't. Just before it was finally returned, I call a call saying it was ready and I needed to make a payment. I explained that in the first call I would be paying by check and had the check ready to give to the driver. The second caller did not seem to be aware of this. Seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Once the car was returned, I politely asked why it took so long to get the car back. His response was "I have no idea.
