The dealership itself was fine; it was our experience with the salesman, Long Huynh, that left us less than impressed. As soon as we got into the vehicle we were interested in for a test drive, Long g with the salesman, Long Huynh, that left us less than impressed. As soon as we got into the vehicle we were interested in for a test drive, Long got into the back seat and began telling me there was something wrong with the transmission in the vehicle we had brought in as a possible trade-in. That was completely unfounded. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the transmission, and I told him so, but he continued to argue with me about it. After the test drive, I received their trade-in offer and decided to decline because the amount they were offering was not enough for me to justify trading in my vehicle. I had explained that I already had people interested in purchasing my car privately for a specific amount. At that point, Long became noticeably rude and dismissive. He told me there was no way I would get the amount I was asking and said that people lie and probably wouldn’t show up. He then went even further, telling me that it wasn’t a matter of if the people who bought my car would call me afterward, but when, claiming they would contact me to tell me there were all kinds of things wrong with the vehicle. I still explained that I was not interested in trading it in. His response was, essentially, “Well, do you want to call these people right now and have them meet you at your house tonight so they can pick it up, since you say you have someone who wants to buy it?” At that point, I honestly should have gotten up and left. Throughout the interaction, he repeatedly told us that they didn’t want my car anyway. The entire experience was unnecessary, uncomfortable, and very off-putting. I understand that dealerships negotiate, but there is a difference between negotiating and being disrespectful toward a customer because they decline an offer. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I am unlikely to return to this dealership to purchase another vehicle if Long Huynh is still working there. More
