Experience was pretty middle of the road. I've had much better, much worse. Got the usual low-ball offer (for a pristine truck trade-in) where they tried get one over by using the "fair" K I've had much better, much worse. I get the cat-and-mouse game and it is a business for them but I'd still rather start off on a good foot. I'm coming in good faith to Zeck... absolutely expect the same from them, not this nonsense. Plus, the manager straight up tried to lie about how Kelley Blue Book's pricing data work... KBB DOES PROVIDE ACCURATE TRANSACTION DATA FOR VEHICLE SALES. Do not let anyone tell you differently... and, no, NADA is not better or more accurate. Eventually, they did come back with a reasonable trade-in offer so there was some redemption... could still very much so do without the games as it only erodes trust up front. I did ALMOST just walk out as soon as they tried to give me the sleazy Kelley Blue Book "fair" value figure and some BS "rationalization." Not here for that. At all. On the good side, they were very very good at helping to find the right packages and features on vehicles I was interested in. Big plus points there. The test drive, negotiation (AFTER the trade-in value snafu), and proceeding paperwork wasn't too bad, pleasant almost! Steve C. was very friendly, warm, and engaging throughout. Had some more hiccups after the fact (license plate got thrown away, some attention to detail lacking in paperwork, etc.) but nothing too egregious (especially since I needed new plates anyway but can see how that would be a big deal otherwise). So 0/5 upfront on the sleazy trade-in valuation, 5/5 in the middle with helping to find the right vehicle, 3/5 after the fact gives me a reasonable 3/5 rating. More
