Me: Customer in the market to buy a vehicle that day with a AA credit rating, one week before Thanksgiving. McLarty Daniels Ford Lincoln: Selling a 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat at MSRP. It was a 2023 order a AA credit rating, one week before Thanksgiving. McLarty Daniels Ford Lincoln: Selling a 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat at MSRP. It was a 2023 order that was never picked up and had been sitting for over 6 weeks. When the saleswoman brought the first offer, the break down showed the MSRP, then removing and then adding back a $7,500 market adjustment (which was interesting, why show removing and adding a market adjustment?) + $699 in add-ons. Their first offer: $1,500 for my trade-in, (undervaluing my trade by $1,000), plus every thing mentioned above = $47,000 to finance. My counter: $7,000 for my trade-in, $0 down and X-Plan pricing (which I do qualify for) and finance $35,000. Their counter: We're not honoring X-Plan pricing, no counter "we're countries apart" as some sort of insult. My counter: Left and purchased a 2023 Ram 1500 from a competitor for $32,000. More
