Idk if it was a racial thing or the fact that I drove up in an older does focus that wasn’t worth very much… but I told him that I wanted to look at some sports cars or large SUV’s and I saw on their website that they had a nice Mercedes some on nice loaded up Acadia’s and Tahoes and he literally LAUGHED and said “maybe we should look at something cheaper” when I told him that I could afford it he wanted to bring me inside and run my credit before he would even show me the vehicle be cause he didn’t want to “waist his time showing me vehicles I couldn’t afford” How insulting. I could put 50% down that day but I guess because I’m black and drove an older car he thought I couldn’t afford it. I have not been that insulted in a long time. When I asked if their was a manager or other salesmen I could speak with he very flippantly said that everyone was busy and it would be an hour late. He didn’t even go inside to check. So I drove off and bought an Acadia Denali somewhere else. I thought we were past the days that black people cant afford nice cars More
