When I went to Gates, I was referred by a friend. I did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly suprised by the friendly staff and atmosphere. I was very pleased that we were able to shop on-line and then received a very comfortable reception from the folks at Gates Automotive Group. Jeremy King was awesome!! He showed us the vehicles we wished to view, set us up with a drive for each vehicle. Never once did it seem that we were pressured or rushed into any decision we had to make. I will definitely recommend friends and family to Gates Automotive Group. I haven't had the chance to experience the service department yet , but I sure hope its the same quality of service that I received on the Sales end. More

Brian was so professional and so accomodating. I was extremely happy with the way I was treated! I went to DeCormier Nissan first because they were closer but they did not even want to work with me. Overall the experience we had was one of the best we've had at other dealerships. The one negative was at the end getting the car after Being cleaned and detailed, I noticed a couple of problems that I di had at other dealerships. The one negative was at the end getting the car after Being cleaned and detailed, I noticed a couple of problems that I did not notice before hand. The rear passenger door panel is peeling and on the same door but on exterior the side molding is starting to peel. Because of this, instead of a 10 experience over all, I'd say a 7.5 rating. I feel as though with a car at this price should not have peeling issues of any sort and not being fixed. I understand it's a used car and what not but I did not notice/ these blemishes, were not there before detailing. I honestly don't think I would have bought it if they were there. Even though other not we are very happy with everything. Thank you More

I gave it this rating because I visited over 5 dealerships and found most were only interested in a quick sale or were shysters trying to rip you off . Some dealers actually used false advertiseme dealerships and found most were only interested in a quick sale or were shysters trying to rip you off . Some dealers actually used false advertisements to get you in and then renege on what there listing said. I was told by 2 salesmen at a Hartford dealership that the price was negotiable on a vehicle I looked at on their website. When I drove over 30 miles to get there was then told the price was NOT negotiable it was an internet only price, however the vehicle was sitting in there lot with the exact same price. After two days they decided to accept my offer, however, in that time I went to Gates (and was glade I did). As I said Gates was very personable and were interested not only in selling a car but also interested in my daughters safety making her happy and reasonable with us as consumers. JJ Lavieri even had 2 new tires put on this vehicle to demonstrate his sincerity towards my daughters safety and Denny worked out a very good price for us. It was truly our pleasure dealing with Gates. More

Gates truly gets it or shall I say Jeremy King gets it. I went into Gates and was immediately helped by Jeremy King, he took down what I was looking for and told me I’d be an excellent candidate to lease a n went into Gates and was immediately helped by Jeremy King, he took down what I was looking for and told me I’d be an excellent candidate to lease a new 2011 Nissan Sentra. He showed me the benefits of leasing vs. buying; and opened my eyes to something I had not ever thought of; leasing over buying. He was incredibly helpful and resourceful; both the sales manager and finance manager were great assistance as well. He made what normally is a stressful time; purchasing a car; into a seamless; and satisfying day. Jeremy was also kind; never pushy and truly treated me like I was important and what I said mattered. He went through every detail about the lease contract; broke down every cost associated and even showed me how much gas I’d be saving with this new Sentra. Having a new car; I figured was never in my price range; but with leasing Jeremy showed me it was possible. I walked out incredibly satisfied and in a brand new car for near the same monthly as I would have if I bought used. The overall experience was pleasurable; and I couldn’t be happier with the service I was provided from Jeremy; and most importantly I couldn’t by any happier with my new 2011 Nissan Sentra. More
