I went into this dealership about a week ago. I explained to the salesman that I would like to purchase a Sonata Hybrid 2013 or 2012. We then, test drove one and I explained to him that I am looking to buy a to the salesman that I would like to purchase a Sonata Hybrid 2013 or 2012. We then, test drove one and I explained to him that I am looking to buy a car within the week. I told him that I prefer a black car, or a dark gray if they have it. The sales then said he would look around for it and that was about it. No further effort was made in order to get me the car I was looking to buy. He also said he would call back once they got some in the store within a day or two. I never heard from the salesman, and he never sat me down at a computer to check other dealers, or transfer a car over. The customer service wasn't poor just flat out lazy and I could have sold myself the car for him that's how bad I wanted it. Needless to say, I walked into another dealership and bought another car, not from Hyundai and the customer was great. He was the second salesman I encountered there that was like that, however at least he took his hands out of his pockets and shook my hand. The other guy wasn't lazy, but flat out rude. I don't think all Hyundai will provide you with lazy service, but stay away from this one. -Nate PS. Don't judge a book by it's cover. More

I originally visited McGrath City Hyundai after arranging an appointment for 2013 Hyundai Elantra that was listed on AutoTrader. When I arrived at the dealership, I was sat down and waited for about 20-30 mi an appointment for 2013 Hyundai Elantra that was listed on AutoTrader. When I arrived at the dealership, I was sat down and waited for about 20-30 minutes before being informed that the car I had called ahead about and arranged a test drive had already been sold. From that point I was led to the lot where I was shown various other similar vehicles. I did end up finding a car that worked for me, and I'm very happy with it. My rating of 3/OK for customer service is based on the fact that I was bait and switched to drive all the way to the dealership, only to wait a long time and be told the car I was looking for wasn't even there. I would have much preferred the sales staff informed me immediately that the car was not available, or informed me over the phone when I called originally. I would have still been open to looking at other vehicles since I had already made the trip, but waiting for as long as I did with no knowledge of what was going on behind the scenes did not give me a sense of security dealing with this dealership. I also gave a 3/OK for quality of work due to my experience with the loan agreement. I arrived at the dealership pre-approved for a loan from a large bank, and I was assured by the sales staff that they could beat the rate. They did beat the rate, but I was offered a loan term that was much longer than I desired. It was only after much back and forth that an agreement was reached. That being said, the sales staff was friendly and the price was agreeable. More

This is my second purchase at Mccrath, and my second purchase with Mr. Robert Gil. Mr. Gil is the reason that I returned back to McGarth . He informed me of a special that was going on, and after we spo purchase with Mr. Robert Gil. Mr. Gil is the reason that I returned back to McGarth . We chatted about what I would like and as soon as it came in to the lot he followed up with me. Gave me all the details and I was in the next day. He picked out a beauty, he knew exactly the right car for me. He took his time, and went over every detail with me. Just as he did on my first purchase with him. He has yet to disappoint me, was friendly, charming, and I could feel his honesty. He was great. The dealership has been always very accomadating with me.
