Rob was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and has worked in various industries including manufacturing, business brokerage, and advertising. No stranger to the car business, Rob previously owned an automotive performance facility in Duluth, Georgia and operated his own independent automotive dealership in Roswell. Since joining the Jim Ellis Automotive Group, he has worked his way through Sales and Finance and worked as our General Manager before assuming his current role as our Vice President. Between work, five kids, and four dogs, Rob and his wife spend their spare time boating on Lake Lanier. His favorite Audi to drive is the RS e-tron GT.

A happy customer Recently brought my son's Audi A-4 in for service. Had been experiencing some leaks in the front of the car and wanted to get them fixed. Was checked in by a helpful young man, Dave Maddox and was assured he'd take care of the problems I described. Too make a long story short, the repair didn't go completely as expected, but at the end Rob Waggoner stepped in and really took care of me. The Ellis's spend a lot of time talking about family and now I know what they mean. I could not be happier about the way the situation was handled. I certainly would have no problem recommending Audi Atlanta to any of my friends. More

"Get your Own Financing and Do Your Research" Just got off the Phone with the VP [Tracie Maloney] & GM [Rob Waggoner] after having to take my 2015 S7 in Multiple Times. After signing their paperwo Just got off the Phone with the VP [Tracie Maloney] & GM [Rob Waggoner] after having to take my 2015 S7 in Multiple Times. After signing their paperwork which they assured me I could "Refinance in 6 months so don't worry about the rate", it turns out that isn't the case. I went and spoke to them about not qualifying for Audi Financing at a super low rate and they told me to "do research next time" they are there to make money. They also shared with me that the value of the car was 56k when I just told them my purchase price was 62k. "You Signed the papers" is my new motto for anything pertaining to Audi Atlanta. Do your homework and come with a Pre-Approval from your own bank [don't tell them about it until the end] and then take your deal elsewhere. Ask them what the NADA value is on the car, just pay that. Wont ever go here again. I am a Audi Returning Past client and bought "Certified Pre-owned"......lol awesome loyalty. More
