Bait and switch I contacted Bill Stasek Chevrolet regarding a vehicle I saw on their website to verify that they had it in stock prior to driving 90 minutes to see it I contacted Bill Stasek Chevrolet regarding a vehicle I saw on their website to verify that they had it in stock prior to driving 90 minutes to see it. I was assured that they had it in stock. I traveled that day to see the vehicle. Upon arrival, despite not seeing the vehicle on the lot, I was assured it was there. They brought us inside and spent several minutes asking questions. Finally, the salesman stated he would pull around the vehicle for us to test drive. We waited outside for quite some time. When they brought around a car, though the same color and model, it was not the car that we requested to see and was not equipped with many of the features we were seeking. Only then were we finally told they did not have the other vehicle in stock but this one is "similarly equipped" though it obviously was not. I am convinced they falsely advertise vehicles to lure people to the dealership (bait and switch) and I've read several Internet of others with similar negative experienceside with this dealership. BEWARE!! I was very upset to have spent over 4 hours of my day off visiting this dealership only to have been deceived. More

Hats off to Stasek Chevrolet for great service! I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle at Stasek Chevrolet in Wheeling IL. My experience first began with Sale Consultant Mike Malloy. I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle at Stasek Chevrolet in Wheeling IL. My experience first began with Sale Consultant Mike Malloy. In our initial meeting, I informed Mike that I was only in the prospecting phase and would not be making any immediate purchasing decisions. Mike completely understood and allowed me to feel more comfortable in this stressful yet exciting time. Mike was also flexible with my time constraints and catered to my time frame. Upon my departure, Mike crunched the numbers and we discussed some options when I returned later that day. I made a second appointment with Mike Malloy to test drive another vehicle, but appointment overlapped with his current customer. This is where the gears changed and I was introduced to another Sales Consultant… Stacey Hall. I was not sure if the transition from Mike to Stacey would be fluid, fore I just established a rapport with Mike. Sure enough, Stacey stepped up to the plate and actually completed the sale. Stacey was professional, yet incorporated humor and assurance in my Stasek Chevrolet experience. Stacey explained everything and comforted me when some of the process was taking a bit longer than anticipated. He has passion in his profession and believes in what he is representing. Besides finding the car at the price I wanted, it was the Sales Consultant Mike Malloy and Stacey Hall that sealed the deal for me. To add icing to the cake I must throw a shout out to Lisa Brie in the Finance Department at Stasek Chevrolet. Lisa explained what documents I was signing and what each was for. She made the process as smooth as silk and hand me on my way in no time. Lisa was extremely kind and answered my questions honestly and forthright.
