Usually one goes into an automotive dealership to buy a new or used car with a bit of trepidation... I certainly did. I was greeted by Bernardo in the lot (as usual) but never felt pressure or pushed. Bernardo asked me some questions and pretty quickly showed me the car that was the perfect fit for me. I was pretty much sold. Then we moved into the anxiety stage. Going into the “room”. The back and forth with whoever the mystery sales manager is. Negotiating a price, terms etc. Except this time I met the mystery man (Mike Harder) face-to-face and we were able to work out a deal that I was very happy with. I never felt pressured. Never felt lost. Mike was terrific. THEN ... I got to the paperwork stage (ugh). The paperwork guy (Chris Weber) was also terrific. He was patient. Explained everything to me... made some changes with no issues at my request. Awesome. In short this whole purchase was great. I would highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Salem to anyone considering buying a vehicle. Oh... and I love my new Mercedes!! More

Having had continual problems with my CLS230 all year this 2020, my husband and i had it towed into Salem Mercedes yet again. We had two choices, Sink more money into something that had cost us a fortune this 2020, my husband and i had it towed into Salem Mercedes yet again. We had two choices, Sink more money into something that had cost us a fortune already, or see if we could get a newer model. E knew it was time for change. Once there we spoke with Don Post who has been great working with us all year, trying to keep costs down, getting us in as quickly as possible. E then went to the floor and spoke with Abel who took me around the lot after listening to what i was interested in. Including color! We glanced at about three and then he showed me the “truck”. Of course i fell in love with it! One owner, low mileage, pristine condition! Abel chatted with me, great people skills! Then i spoke with my husband and took him o Vet to see what i liked. Next step, did we qualify to jump through all the hoops!!! This is where Mike came in! I also never hesitate to ask if there are discounts for Veterans! Mike went into his office to check out all the necessary paperwork and returned with great news. Mike has a sincere heart toward Veterans and was helpful working through all the aspects to help us in our need. And then Chris to finalize all the paperwork. None of them were impolite or rushed just to push a car off onto us like we’ve experienced by past dealerships. They were polite, respectful and courteous, and genuinely friendly, not faked. If you are in need of a car, check Mercedes out in Salem! If you are a Veteran,, it’s certainly worth every effort for you to go and speak with Angel and Mike. You may return home with a nice comfortable vehicle beyond your dreams! One thats reliable, dependable and affordable! Mike, we can’t thank you enough for all you and your staff did for us! It’s nearly a week since we went in and I’m still loving my GLA250 “truck”. It’s beyond my wildest dreams!!! Thank you all for your kindness, integrity and help! More

My situation was unique because I didn't have very much time to dedicate to the buying process at the dealership and needed most to be started digitally. When I asked if this was possible Cyndy didn't even flinch! She got everything started for us and made the process quick and easy and we were in our new car by the end of the day. Her follow-up after the process was excellent too. A= experience. Thank you! More
