Extremely Disappointed with Our Lexus Experience We purchased a Lexus TX 500h F SPORT from Lexus of Tucson Automall in mid-June, expecting the quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service tha purchased a Lexus TX 500h F SPORT from Lexus of Tucson Automall in mid-June, expecting the quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service that Lexus is known for. Unfortunately, our experience so far has been extremely disappointing. We have owned the vehicle for less than two months when we learned that it was potentially affected by a safety recall involving the rear axle carriers. The recall states that the carriers “may not have been manufactured properly” and that a carrier could break at a certain attachment point, potentially affecting rear vehicle stability and increasing the risk of a crash under certain operating conditions. Our vehicle has been at the dealership since August 11, and we still have not been given a clear answer as to whether our specific vehicle contains the affected parts. We have repeatedly been told only that it “may” have the affected parts and that they are still working to determine which serial numbers are included. What is particularly concerning is that the service department initially did not want to provide us with a loaner vehicle. We were told that they felt we should continue driving our vehicle until they had a more definitive list of the affected serial numbers. I am sorry, but when a manufacturer issues a safety recall involving a component that could potentially break and affect vehicle stability, I am not comfortable putting my family in that vehicle and taking that risk. The dealership ultimately did provide us with a loaner, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the loaner itself has faulty safety sensors that repeatedly alert us that a vehicle is nearby when there is nothing there. While we understand that loaner vehicles are not necessarily perfect, it is frustrating to be dealing with additional safety-related issues while our new vehicle is sitting at the dealership. We have also attempted to escalate the situation. I have left three messages for the General Sales Manager and have not received a response. That lack of communication has been especially disappointing given the circumstances. We chose Lexus largely because our friends and family have consistently spoken highly of the brand's quality and customer service. Unfortunately, our experience with Lexus of Tucson Automall has not reflected those expectations. We purchased what we believed would be a safe, reliable, premium vehicle, and instead we have spent a significant portion of our ownership dealing with a safety recall, uncertainty about whether our vehicle is affected, and a lack of communication. We understand that some aspects of a safety recall may be outside the dealership's control. However, how a dealership communicates with and takes care of its customers during a situation like this is absolutely within its control. At this point, we are extremely disappointed with our experience and will certainly think twice about purchasing another Lexus in the future. We sincerely hope Lexus of Tucson Automall takes this situation seriously and improves its communication and customer service. More

The whole team worked hard to assist me in my car buying journey. I also had a young child with me and they were all very accommodating to her as well which means a lot. The finishing touches after my purchase were a pleasant surprise. They helped me program my phone and garage door opener and even had a bouquet of flowers on my front seat. I was left with a suv I loved, peace of mind and no questions left unanswered. It was a great experience and I highly recommended that if you’re looking for a good car buying experience without the sales pressure and a dealership who pays attention to detail, this is your stop.
