Best dealership experience I was extremely specific with my needs, so I was going to be beholden to any dealership that had corresponding inventory. Selling a car with a known recall To be honest, my car was not ready to deliver after completion of the sales contract. The license plates from my old car had not been placed on the ne To be honest, my car was not ready to deliver after completion of the sales contract. The license plates from my old car had not been placed on the new car, at least 30 minutes after the sale had been finalized, the new car did not come with place mats. By the time the car was ready to be delivered and we could depart, almost an hour had elapsed. I understand and am sympathetic to, our sales person, John Hutton, having another potential sale with a different customer at the same time our sales experience was occurring and he did the best he could to go back and forth with us and his other potential sale. John was professional throughout the process, as he and I had talked multiple times before finally closing on the sale. I have just now received a recall for a bad hood latch on my new car, not one month into purchasing it. The same recall was received for my wife's 2015 Santa Fe, which she had serviced a few weeks ago, a few days before I had purchased my 2017 Santa Fe. My question is why would you would sell me a car that has a recall on it for a hood latch, when it could have been taken care of before selling it to me? More
