Unfortunately, my experience with the service department was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the lack of empathy, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile to help resolve a problem. was very disappointing. The service advisor seemed more focused on simply following the book than trying to find solutions or work with the customer. When I asked for assistance with the situation, the response was essentially, “There’s nothing I can do.” That type of attitude is frustrating, especially when you are looking for someone to help find a solution rather than simply explain why something cannot be done. Communication was also a major issue. My vehicle sat throughout the day with little to no updates, and I had to wait until the end of the day to find out what the mechanic had discovered. A simple phone call or update during the day would have made a big difference. What was even more disappointing is that the dealership’s website promotes “exceptional customer service” and says that, because they are family owned and not part of a large auto group, customers will receive the help they need. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I expected more personal attention and a willingness to work with me to resolve the issue. The lack of teamwork was also frustrating. My vehicle ended up sitting for an additional day simply because the service advisor was off. It gave me the impression that there was no team approach to taking care of the customer. I understand that not every problem can be resolved exactly the way a customer wants. However, good customer service is about communication, empathy, and making an honest effort to find a solution. Unfortunately, I did not feel that effort was made here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. A little more communication, teamwork, empathy, and willingness to go above and beyond would make a significant difference in the customer experience. More
