Here's what you can expect with Jim Browne. Here's my experience with the 3 trucks I have purchased from them. I currently have an open buy back case with General Motors because the 2026 1500 Sierra randomly shuts off while driving, but I'm sure it will be denied even though GM knows there's an issue with their telematics modules. This has happened twice in less that 4100 miles. I had all the service records emailed over, although all they do is show the times the trucks were checked in, not every time I went up there and had them look at issues. I had the 2024 Colorado up there 3 times that weren't documented while they were trying to figure out a fog light issue. They were marked off as working on the GM certified preowned paperwork. Come to find out they weren't even wired up. Same goes for the tire balance. I had it back in within a couple of days of purchase due to the vibration. There was also a brake light out on the day I drove it off the lot. I was pulled over shortly after purchasing it for the light being out. Again all of this was checked off on the GM certified paperwork as being checked before it was sold. There was 2 occasions with the 2024 Silverado where I drove around with the transmission tech while he was hooked up watching live data on the transmission while I drove around town that wasn't logged either since I did not officially check it in to service. All together there is 14 records in a little over a year where the 3 trucks were dropped off and checked in through the service department. That's 19 trips down there. All in all we have spent around $190k at Jim Browne in a little over a year on GM products and the only one we haven't had issues with is the 2025 Equinox. I will say Michael Scott and Shawn Reutimen were great to work with but my experience with GM and Jim Browne Chevrolet has been atrocious. More
