This is in response to University KIA's response to my last review concerning warranty being denied for peeling paint from my 2026 KIA Sportage. My last Sportage that I owned was a 2020 which I had also b last review concerning warranty being denied for peeling paint from my 2026 KIA Sportage. My last Sportage that I owned was a 2020 which I had also bought from University KIA that had peeling paint from both side view mirrors and the rear spoiler and back then the warranty claim was approved, so what changed KIA? Having to make multiple calls to your service department with no one answering the phone and then finally getting in touch with the service department supervisor and being told that this was the first he has heard about this and that he would check it out and get back to me. After waiting another week, I called and got in touch with Evan in the service department and being told that they just got something from the warranty department that morning, which I believe is bull, that the warranty claim was denied. So, I started thinking what happens if I have start having issues with the engine or transmission or electrical and would the warranty be denied again, so I took the KIA Sportage down to Landers McLarty Subaru and traded it in for a new Forester. The Sportage was paid off, and it made a good down payment. The Forester is much better vehicle; it's a shame that it came down to this. KIA, you lost a loyal customer. I will never do business with University KIA again. Never again KIA! More

The warranty department person had taken photos of the peeling paint and told me that they would get back with me in a few days. I had waited one week and didn't hear back from anyone, I tried calling the service department several times and couldn't get through. So over two weeks go by, and I finally got through to the service department, and I was told that my claim was denied with them saying that it looked like the peeling paint was from external causes. I have owned several KIA's the past and have noticed the quality going downhill. Never Again KIA. 👇 The information below is not visible to anyone but you and the company representatives.
