Melanie was OK, except she refused to even consider a

deal....offered me an insulting amount for my trade-in. Within the first 24 hours I discovered the Jeep I purchased to have a bad battery and an inoperative GPS nav system. The battery was replaced by JW service satisfactorily (Jared Laska was good to work with), except it took two hours to change out a battery (I can do that in 10 minutes!!)! The Pre-owned manager refused to even split the cost of the inoperative radio with me. Even IF it was an AS-IS, No Warranty deal, it would have been the honorable thing to at least have considered a bit of a concession on such a large ticket item that was not working - especially when I asked if EVERYTHING worked on the vehicle and was told that it did. I considered returning the vehicle due to this deception, but ultimately, I liked the vehicle, and I was able to find a radio unit online for a reasonable ( yet still not inexpensive!!) price. IF my electronic skills allow, I may try installing it myself, which would have shaved even MORE off the amount JW would have needed to settle the issue to my satisfaction. Overall, I'm not impressed with my experience. Service department was fine, but since it is such a long distance from me, I doubt I will be returning for other services. I certainly will NOT be returning for further purchases from this dealership!!
