Dishonest, incompetent, sells lemons I don't expect this review will survive on-line very long as it is truthful and explains the very poor service we received at their hands. We are stil I don't expect this review will survive on-line very long as it is truthful and explains the very poor service we received at their hands. We are still dealing with the repercussions of their deceitful practices. We purchased a brand new 2020 f450 through them, which by the way was either the 3rd or 4th vehicle we had a deposit on. One vehicle after another was either sold out from under us or suddenly became "unavailable" as we went through this process and each time a different vehicle was offered. Mind you each subsequent vehicle was more expensive so we start with padding the sales amount to get as much out of the consumer as possible. (This vehicle by the way is supposed to be the startup for a hauling company). After they have played games on the vehicle we finally get to the point where it is time to register the vehicle. They have no idea how to register an apportioned vehicle, in fact they admitted that they were clueless and suggested we register it as a commercial vehicle because they knew how to do this. Anyone who works in the industry is well aware of the fact that commercial vs apportioned is a huge difference and going with their suggestion would have limited us in ways that they obviously couldn't comprehend. We ended up saying we would go to the registry ourselves and take care of the paperwork. My son stopped in to make sure we had all of the documents we needed the day before we were going to the registry. I stopped in again to confirm that we had ALL of the required documents on the morning we were going to the registry... we were assured that ALL of the paperwork was in order. I am sure those of you with just a little common sense can see where this is going. We arrive at the registry and wait for over an hour to process our paperwork. Big surprise but one of the key documents that we need is missing! A phone call is made to Colonial Ford and we told that they can't give us this document by law, they can only hand it directly to the registry. So we ask them to send someone down to the registry to meet us and hand the document to the registry. Oops... they can't do that either... they finally concede to giving us the document that according to them they can't hand us by law. So we travel back to Marlborough, retrieve the document and go back to the registry. Vehicle is finally registered, we go back to pick it up. My son drives it off the lot and before he makes it home the check engine light comes on. We are talking about a brand new 2020 f450... never owned by anyone else. By they way, Marlborough can't do the work, nor can they issue an inspection sticker for this kind of vehicle, so now we have to go to Colonial Ford in Plymouth (same company). They recommend the vehicle be driven through 1 tank of gas and then they will take another look. Ok, one tank later in we go and they can reset it and now apply an inspection sticker. Great. My son drives out of the lot and on comes the light again. Back in to the service department. The vehicle is now sitting in the service department in Plymouth, the parts are backordered for a month and we are unable to move forward with a business that is supposed to be off the ground 2 weeks ago and is incurring expenses every day because not only do we still have to make truck payments we have to pay for all of the other equipment purchased to run this business but we can't earn any revenue because the truck they sold us in Marlborough is a lemon and their counterparts in Plymouth are equally incompetent. As I said, I doubt this review will survive the test of Colonials scrutiny because after all putting the truth out there is not good business for them. When my son posted his comments stating in even more detail how they had mishandled they claimed it was slander. To this day I still don't understand how speaking the truth is slander and I believe the word they were really looking for was liable not slander. In either case, this is the truth, therefore not liable. I will copy and paste this too and post it on every bit of social media that I have so that when they take this down people can still see what they don't want you to know. More

The entire car buying experience at Colonial Marlboro was wonderful from beginning to end. Dan Flanagan, our salesman, exceeded any and all expectations. We could not have asked for someone more knowledgeabl wonderful from beginning to end. Dan Flanagan, our salesman, exceeded any and all expectations. We could not have asked for someone more knowledgeable on our new vehicle. He made the entire process too simple to believe. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the rest of the staff also, including Mark, Mike, Stephen, and Jimmy. We plan on going there for our vehicles for many years to come! More

I highly recommend Colonial Ford of Marlboro. They are very customer focused, honest, and I did not feel any pressure from the beginning and until the very end. I was originally contacted by Matt who was very customer focused, honest, and I did not feel any pressure from the beginning and until the very end. I was originally contacted by Matt who was very helpful, so I decided to drive an hour from home to take a look at the vehicle. Bob then took over for the full sale of the used Jeep Cherokee that I bought, and was very easy to work with, professional, and made the process as seamless as possible. I love my vehicle and am very happy, it was worth the long trip to buy! More
