On October 17th, I went with my family to the GMC dealership location at 930 East I-30 Frontage Rd, Rockwall, TX 75087, to inquire about and want to purchase a GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck. Because I had seen this vehicle on their website earlier and they were currently running a promotion. However, upon arrival at the store, it was discovered that the price was significantly different from what they had down on the website. The quoted price on the website, after various discounts were applied, was 62,720. Assuming a tax rate of 6.25%, the final price would be 3,920. The total would be: 66,640. After reaching the dealer location, they offered the following price: 69778.32 (with the quotation sheet and picture attached). The salespeople explained that the vehicle had tinted, so there would be an additional charge of 1499. I didn't want the tinting, and the most important thing is that even after subtracting the 1499 for the tinting, their on-site quote was still much higher than what was post on the website. When we asked if we could bring the quote back home to discuss, the salesperson clearly refused, saying "No". I don't know why? So I'm complaining about this dealer's deceptive low-price promotion that tricks consumers.
