Trade in 4 runner and purchase of a new Camry I went to trade in my gas guzzling 4 runner for a more economical Toyota. I have had Toyota's for over 35 years and the last 5 were 4 runners. (great cars but too expensive to run with current gas prices) The Sales person Luis and the Manager on Duty were very helpful in facilitating the trade. I have little patience with "bargaining" and just wanted to get the "deal" complete. Both were very efficient, Lois showing me various Camry's while the manager was having my 4 runner appraised. The offer was given to me, I countered it and we quickly came to an agreement which was fair. They were both very professional during the negotiations and extremely helpful. I decided to finance the remainder of the balance and spoke with Sam. He was great, he covered some additional options, which I purchased and was out in my new car in a very short time. He showed us cars we were interested in and took us for a test drive. We took a long time to decide and I have to say that Luis M. was EXTREMELY patient with us. He negotiated the best price for us, gave us very valuable suggestions, he NEVER pressured us into buying something we didn't like. Our salesman, Luis, was extremely helpful and friendly through this process...without him, we probably would not have bought a new truck, today. He seemed genuinely excited about our purchase and really helped us with a jovial attitude. He really felt more like a fun family member than someone trying to sell a car. We appreciated that...and quite frankly needed that. Overall, Ventura Toyota is, without exaggeration, the best Toyota dealership in the area. The cleanliness of the service area and the welcoming attitude of the sales make me confident in saying I would definitely buy another and recommend buying a Toyota from Ventura Toyota.
