I have been anxious to purchase the 2025 Ioniq 5 since I have seen its release in late 2024. I have kept track of of my local dealerships, Allen Turner Hyundai of Pensacola, FL, website to see when they mig have seen its release in late 2024. I have kept track of of my local dealerships, Allen Turner Hyundai of Pensacola, FL, website to see when they might be getting one in, and one day in early January 2025, they had post two units that they were getting for their lot. Through their website, I placed an inquiry about those models and asked about further information. I was contacted a day or so later by Robin who explained to me about the situation with the Ioniq 5, how this model year was being produced at new plant in the US and things were moving a little slowing in deliveries and she wasn't sure about the exact date of the arrival. We also discussed the idea of maybe ordering one in the exact color and trim package I wanted, but she mentioned that it was possible, but with the way the plant was operating at the moment, the wait from a custom unit could be quite a long time. And with that we agreed to stick with the unit coming in and she would keep me up to date about when it would arrive A couple week went by and we had not heard anything, so my fiancé and I decided to stop by the dealership to check on the status. We had asked to speak to Lorie because she sold my fiancé a couple cars already in the past few months and she loved dealing with her. Lorie had checked and said that there still was not a firm delivery date for the car, and Robin came to help and suggested that we place $500 refundable First Right of Refusal deposit and that way, when ever it does come it, we have first shot at buying it. So we did it. A couple more weeks went by and would get periodic text msgs from Robin/Lorie about the status. Seem the date kept getting pushed back for one reason or another, but we knew it was still on its way. And then, on 5Feb, we get the text from Robin "It's Here!!". We talked to her and made arrangements to come and close on it the next day. During the closing process Her boss Vince was a great help in giving us what we considered a fair price on our paid-off trade (2020 Kona Ultimate also purchased there). This was the first 2025 Ioniq 5 sold by Allen Turner so there were a couple hiccups, but everyone was fantastic about the whole thing and treated us like family! And last, but certainly not least, Lorie in Finance was great in helping with all the little extras we might need (No finance problems, we paid cash), and the super friendly! This was an overall excellent car purchasing experience. My fiancé has bought a couple cars here, I have now got two cars, and my son has bought one as well. When its time for another car, Allen Turner is ALWAYS the first (and probably the last) place we will stop! More
