I had planned on buying a new Genesis, but my son found a certified pre-owned Genesis w/ only 5 K miles on it in Atlanta. Even though I purchased the vehicle in Atlanta, Hyundai of St. Augustine has given me superb service. Paul Smathers has gladly, personably, and professionally helped me learn how to use the various electronics on the car. He set up my Blue Link and has offered to help me at any time. Jimmy Feliciano coordinated having a ding in the door (during the purchasing process in Atlanta) repaired in St. Augustine so I would not have to go back to Atlanta. I am most grateful for the quality of care I've received during these initial weeks of acquiring this beautiful car. I would especially like to praise the service and assistance I've received from Paul Smathers. Leon really pays attention to his customers and listens to what they are looking for in their vehicle search. This is a difficult skill for a sales person to develop and he is a natural. Immediate updates were provided during my search, along with keeping within my budget limits that were explained to him on day one. A successful salesman does not have to "push" a sale onto the customer if they trully pay attention to the customer. This is where Leon excelled and trust was established between Leon and myself because he did not push me into buying just any car. My car died, tomorrow a have to be in school at 6:45 am, and my wife had to go to work in totally opposite direction. We tried everything including Creigs list ( what a junk). At about 5pm we called our friend Leon and he offered as a great lease opportunity that may solve our problem. Make a long story sort, Leon collected maximum information over the phone, and although his shift was almost over he waited for as and assisted as throughout the entire processes. We left dealership at830PM in brand new Elantra, with the lease that worked for as. I had Hyundai Sonata, before, I liked the car. Thank you very much Leon, you are great friend and salesman. PS. Last person I sighed papers with, Joseph Cassata, was little pushy, and coffee did not tasted good. THANK YOU LEON. More
