Satisfied in the past I will NEVER go back My husband and I were purchasing a new car. Because of the online ad saying they had Rav 4's for a price of $22,700, we went to Boch Toyota. The was n My husband and I were purchasing a new car. Because of the online ad saying they had Rav 4's for a price of $22,700, we went to Boch Toyota. The was no fine print on the online ad. We entered the Boch dealership on October 15, 2017 and was introduced to John Remy. I showed him the online ad on my phone. We told him exactly what we wanted and the color, for the advertised price He told us to wait and he would be back. He then drove the car we wished to by to the front and showed it to us. We agreed that was exactly what we wanted. John started to write up the sale and the price was not what we had shown him in the ad. Another salesperson came to us to show us the print ad that had the small print. Only 3 Rav4's in white were available for that price. This is typical bait and switch tactic, which is illegal. Also while waiting another salesman asked John for the keys to the car we were taking about purchasing. When I asked why he told me it was as because he sold that car. I was upset and they said they could find another one for us. After completing the paperwork we were told many different things. The interest rate was different every time, varying between 5.9 to 2.9 to 3.2%, I never received a copy of the final paperwork that I had signed. We left after leaving a deposit on a Rav4, they said they would find us another one and call us the next day I did not sleep that night. I had purchased two cars previously from Boch Toyota, in 2003 and 2006.. I felt like I had been played this time with their sales tactics. The next morning, October 21, 2017, I called and emailed John Remy asking for the deposit back. His voicemail was full each time I called him. So I emailed him and requested that my deposit be refunded. Finally he call me back and told me it could take up to 3-4 days for the refund. After 9 days, I contacted my credit card company because I did not have the requested refund of the $500 deposit. I opened a case with my credit card company, refuting the charges. The credit card company sent me correspondence on 11/13/17 saying that Boch has not responded and they, (the credit card company) refunded the money to my account. I purchased a new 2018 Toyota from a different Toyota dealer. More
