Great dealership for buying and service My salesman John Mclean is the man! Hooked me up a couple years back with an awesome crosstrek and he still reaches out and checks up on us. Nate in service made my hitch and oil change appt a breeze took a loaner out and had lunch. Car was ready before most other dealers could even do a oil change and I had a hitch installed to boot. Bratt Subaru is where we’ll be going when we trade up for a new model in a few years. Keep it up guys! More

One of my top five best birthday gifts We had bought my housemate's used Forester from Brattleboro Subaru a few years ago; the experience was marvelous, which is remarkable given how diffic We had bought my housemate's used Forester from Brattleboro Subaru a few years ago; the experience was marvelous, which is remarkable given how difficult my friend can be when it comes to purchases. My 2010 Forester had been giving us a bit of trouble over minor things, while the mileage was nearing 120,000. We came in to explore the possibilities and soon discovered we could upgrade to a new Forester with everything I wanted at an affordable price. John McLean, who had sold my friend her car, had me fill out the financial forms to see how much car I could manage. That was a great idea, so there would be no disappointments later. John also asked me plenty of questions about the features and even the car color I wanted. I had to settle for less than I wanted when I had purchased my previous (used) car. Following a thorough test drive during which John first showed me the EyeSight system/cruise control/Xmode, as well as the Blindspot indicators and the audio system, etc. while he drove the car. That approach helped me feel more comfortable when I took over the rest of the test drive, which included a run on Rt. 91. Seeing the car's stability even in the mud impressed me, as did all the other safety features and the incredible sound system. I also fell in love with the Jasmine Green. I had already purchased four previous Foresters, so the car does sell itself. This latest model put all the others to shame, as it gave me many of the same or similar features my uncle has on his luxury cars (Audis, Jaguars, Mercedes). John excels when it comes to preparing and carrying out a test drive; he thinks of every contingency to give each customer what he/she needs and loves. He comprehends how emotional a car purchase can be, especially when dealing with music lovers. That attention to detail proves invaluable when making such a large purchase. We take lots of trips, which John knew, so we want comfort, safety and easy access to our music. I also appreciate John's friendly, calm demeanor; he rolls with the punches while maintaining his upbeat attitude. We were supposed to pick up my new car on a day that was forecast to include a serious snowstorm. Despite having a packed schedule, John and his colleagues accommodated most of us the day before the storm without skipping a beat. Not only did John go over all the features and setup functions with each customer, but he also filled my tank with gas while I signed all the paperwork. The entire staff seems accommodating and gracious, which makes the whole experience so much more pleasant than most major purchases. Everything at Brattleboro Subaru is straightforward, without all the games and gimmicks, as well as the high-pressured, often obnoxious approaches employed by all too many car dealers. I recommend this dealer to everyone I meet, just as I always give rave reviews to my Foresters. More

They pulled off the seemingly impossible I emailed Marie with a bit of a tough situation. I have bad credit due to a voluntary repo a few years ago, along with some other issues. Ontop of th I emailed Marie with a bit of a tough situation. I have bad credit due to a voluntary repo a few years ago, along with some other issues. Ontop of that I only had about $1,500 cash and no trade. My current car was done with the inspection about to run out in about a week. After talking back and forth through email, Marie personally called me and went over their bad credit financing, some possible options for vehicles, as well as more details about what I was looking for. I went to Brattleboro Subaru and met with John who Marie had explained my situation too. Marie came down and introduced herself and offered to help in any way she could. John was great. He listened to me on what my budget was, as well as what I would and would not want in a vehicle. We took a look at some options that might work. After running my credit, it looked like we'd be doing financing through credit acceptance and I had some options for vehicles. Surprisingly with an extra push from the dealership, they were able to get me approved for conventional financing, with only $1,500 down with a payment that fit my budget. I ended up with a very clean, one owner 2012 subaru impreza sport. It also is a Subaru Certified Pre owned, which means I ended up with a full warranty, as well as road side assistance. Going into this situation I completely expected to either end up with a vehicle I really did not like, a huge down-payment, or a monthly payment I just couldn't manage. Now I'm well on my way to rebuilding a credit, with a car I actually enjoy and a payment I can afford! More

Good service starts at the top. Ownership and top management set the tone and personality of a dealership. This is a well run dealership that is not heavy handed with its customers and more importantly.... its employees. There is no pressure exerted on the customer. It starts with John's over sight and filters down to John M. to Laura to Jerry in service. Buying a vehicle at Brattleboro is a positive experience. Thank you, Laura for your patience and knowledge. You are very good at what you do. Jeanne and I are enjoying our new 2017 Outback, especially, the latest safety features. We are a little slow about the electronics. Hopefully, we will figure them out by 6,000 mile oil change. Brattleboro Subaru is our dealer of choice. Thank you, John S. and your people. More

He really knows his stuff about the electronics and was able to guide me through using the navigation system as well as the blue tooth service. Now I am working with Laura Chapdelaine and she is another super star. Intelligent, well-informed and an excellent communicator. She assists me with my service needs, including picking up my car and taking it to the dealership!
