My son purchased my 2010 Genesis from Allen Turner and I was and still am in love with this car. Adonis MonCrief was our salesman and he was so professional, took so much time to look out for the best car and deal for this 75 year old lady who had just had my first accident and totalled my car. It was imperative to have a good running car and dependable because I still work and my son came in from Maryland to purchase me a car. He made sure I left with those and then some. He and the business office worked with us to have a car payment I could afford. I felt that Adonis treated me as if he would have wanted his mom treated. Wonderful employee and company. Salesman was excellent-not pushy. The finance department was not working on our behalf, however, and tried to set us up with a lender that was providing him a kickback. All the paperwork was completed with Harvesters Bank. When I asked why it was assumed I was going with Harvesters and inquired about the interest rate, I showed him a quote I’d worked up while sitting in the waiting room. It was a full point lower! He quickly tried to make an excuse about it automatically choosing Harvesters Bank and matched my quote in seconds with another bank. The funny part is he was wearing a Harvesters Bank polo shirt! Bottom Line: don’t believe them when they say they’re there for you! The almighty dollar trumps anything they say to make you believe you’re “family” or “we’ll do whatever we can to get you the best rate”. Watch your back! More
