Very impressed with this dealership! I arrived on a Sunday 15 minutes before they opened to look at their on lot stock. I was politely asked from a distance whether I needed assistance by Jim who turned out to be a sales professional and the inventory manager. I let him know from the start that I was not interested in typical car sales tactics and he didn't seem to mind. I told him numbers would control so we went inside and he gave me his best offer in writing. I took it to other dealerships, none of which would even give me a solid price verbally and were obviously shady folks. In particular, the sales manager at Imperial Chevy in Mendon was the absolute worst of all - when I asked for a clear bottom line number he started on this ridiculous hypothetical about how "[if I list a house for $475k on the market and someone comes and offers me $550k for it, why would i sell it for $475k?]" ...bottom line: Imperial are clearly not the type of people a buyer wants to be dealing with in the car buying process. I got a great deal at Colonial, the first dealership I stopped at, and would absolutely recommend going to see Jim at Colonial Chevy in Acton if you are considering buying a car/truck. Never once did the numbers change or any other shady tactics - seemingly the most transparent vehicle purchase I have been a part of. Love my new Equinox! More
