"Ad misprint" says it all. Is there an industry with so many mistakes in the ads as car dealerships? What seemed like a good deal online and on cars.com turned out to be north o Is there an industry with so many mistakes in the ads as car dealerships? What seemed like a good deal online and on cars.com turned out to be north of the regular price because of, what else, "misprint in the ad". Not only it took them 4 days to take the ad off the web, but dealership confirmed the price during phone conversation before I stupidly drove 45 minutes to get the truck. Actual price was nothing special, I was more annoyed by the old "price mistake" trick than anything. If this is your neighbourhood dealer and you're not looking for a good deal - go ahead and visit them, they will get you the deal everybody else will, maybe better if you negotiate it down. If it's out of the way to get to them to get a "deal" - forget about it. I talked to Jimmy, but could have been anybody in the place. Shady pricing policy is set by the management. More
