We left with exactly the vehicle we wanted, at a fair price, and feeling satisfied that we were not taken advantage of; something that is never the case at car dealerships in our experience. Great Price, Mediocre Sales Service Bought the car through Costco discount program at a fantastic price no one else could come close too. However, after driving 1 1/2 hours to the dealer Bought the car through Costco discount program at a fantastic price no one else could come close too. However, after driving 1 1/2 hours to the dealer it took over 3 hours to make the actual purchase. While the money we saved was worth it, the service provided was less than stellar. We were turned over to a salesperson who tried to charge us over $200 more than the price quoted for accessories we were previously told were included in the price of all their cars. After he checked, he came back and agreed to give us the originally quoted price saying the person we dealt with over the phone made a mistake. We didnt believe his story since she sells hundreds of cars a year by phone and we think he was trying to pull a fast one by telling us we weren't buying the same car she quoted the price on. I showed him the VIN numbers were the same and he went back to it was her mistake. At least he begrudgingly honored the price! We were told the delay was due to the administrative process which is plausible, but with 4 businessmanagers they should do better than they did! . We were also told it was due to preparing the car for sale. I have no idea what they did to prepare the car other than wipe off some dirt on the outside. The interior was not spotless which you would expect for a car with 3 miles on it, and the windows were dirty and streaked both inside and outside. There was also a big nick on the inside of the door jam which had not been there before, but we didnt notice it until we got home and it can be easily touched up with paint. Bottom line - buy your car from Del for the discount just pay attention to the details!! And be prepared to spend half a day in their showroom! Oh and bring your own water because they dont even provide bottled water for free! Happy we will be using our local dealer for service which we have used for our other toyota and who provides exceptional customer service and free bottled water! More
