He lies very easily. He can make a knowingly false statement I have purchased a used car from Jenkins and have only very negative feelings about the companies loose relationship with the truth. The car is as I expected and I am satisfied with it but I would not have agreed to buy it if I had known what the people were like.. After several visits to the dealership in an effort to resolve a relatively minor finance issue with Sean or Thom Gemkow, I got a follow up call from the salesman asking if everything was OK. When I told him that I was disturbed with my treatment by the finance department, he said he would look into it. He called me back in less than an hour and said that he had talked to Jeremy and that I should come back in to see Jeremy so he could fix it. My opinion of the dealership improved greatly and a few days later I et with Jeremy who said that he would resolve the issue by adjusting the vehicle sale price so that the finance terms would return to what had been agreed to. I was satisfied. He asked me to have a seat while he worked it out. After a while, he returned to tell me that he had taken care of it. He had no contract or paperwork for me and when I asked for some documentation, he told me not to worry about it., that I would receive it in the mail. I knew that I was being handled (lied to). A few days later, I received payment documentation in the mail. I went to the dealership and spoke first with the salesman involved. His attitude was very different than it had been before. It was clear to me that the sales manager had twisted his tail for some reason. He got Jeremy on the phone and after some discussion, he hung up and told me that Jeremy said I should see a lawyer if I was not happy. I wonder about the corporate culture that allows or creates this type of people to represent it. More
