I started my career in January of 1996 as a receptionist. I immediately liked the business. After one year I started selling at our VW store and then came to Mercedes as a sales consultant. After three years of selling I took my current position as Sales Manager. I have been in this position for the last 8 years. I love coming to work each day providing a quality product to an incredible family of clients. My team is one of the best and we strive to not only exceed our clients expectations but have some fun while we are doing it! I am single and live on Long Island. I enjoy working out, spending time with my loved ones, the beach, and I very much enjoy a good laugh! (I WAS voted "most humorous" in high school!)

I have had experiences dealing with sales representatives and managers from many different dealerships, but never have I seen such exceptional service! My sales representative Kelvin Nunez has been astonishingly accommodating and understanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the most impressionable and professional way. I was immediately taken to the vehicle I was interested in and given a full and detailed explanation on every little detail. Although it took him a while to locate a test vehicle, the test drive was memorable and comfortable. Unlike some other dealerships where sales representatives exaggerate the vehicle's advantages, Kelvin was always honest and never at one point did I feel as I was being pushed. He was truly concerned about me getting the vehicle I truly desired! Even during negotiations, he was kind, courteous, and never pushy. But most importantly, he was never dishonest about the transaction, always being truthful and honest making the entire transaction very transparent! John Kunz appraised my vehicle. Although I did not have much interactions with him, he was always kind and very perceptive. Although I could not come to agreement initially with John, he nevertheless has left a truly positive impression. Finally, Suzanne Cochrane was/is the general manager of Helms Bros. There is so much that can be said about her, but I believe I can summarize by stating that "Suzanne redefines the standard for a dealership!". Under her leadership, it was immediately apparent that she had raised the service quality at this dealership to levels unheard of before! She was very apologetic about the delayed test drive, and even took her time to personally greet me and thank me during the negotiations the next day! Overall I was very impressed with this dealership and I definitely look forward to dealing with them in the future again! UPDATE 03/02/2015 My experiences over the past few days really solidifies my opinion with regards to this dealership. I just cannot express how satisfied I am with their level of service. After the negotiations and during the process of picking up the vehicle, I ran into issues with registering the vehicle. As a result I was unable to purchase the vehicle I was interested in. I tried to rectify this issue, visiting the dealership multiple times over a span of three days. At this point, Suzanne Cochrane, the General Manager; recognized me invited me into the office of Jennifer Lang, the Sales Manager. There, they revealed that I wasn't just another statistics on their system. They were actively discussing my case and trying to work around the issue. Eventually, Jennifer Lang and Suzanne Cochrane called every person involved into the office and figured out a solution to the problem! I have never seen such amazing service from a dealership before! I would like to thank Suzanne for continuously looking into this issue. I would not have been able to obtain this level of service anywhere and I would definitely not be purchasing a Mercedes Benz vehicle if it weren't for you. You have saved me countless hours and made what would normally be a frustrating experience a really exciting one. Furthermore, I would like to thank Kelvin Nunez who not only had the dedication to providing excellent service, but also the patience to deal with my constant inquiries into the situation. More

People Make the difference I recently purchased my second ML 350 Blue TEC from Helms Bros. Unlike my previous purchase this one had a couple of delivery issues. I have to say in hind sight I am glade that this happened for it gave me a chance to see just how well this team managed by Jennifer Lang came together correcting these issues way beyond my expectations. Michael Nekava is one of the most knowledgeable no BS sales associates I have had the pleasure of working with. Michael as in my first purchase made the process a pleasure keeping me informed throughout from date of building to date of delivery. When issues arise it is the truly exceptional companies the stand out. I highly recommend Helms Bros and Michael Nekava. More

I have bought 8 new mercedes' in the last 13 years, 6 of them from Helms Brothers and the last 4 from Michael Nekava. Michael is probably the best car salesman I have EVER done business with. He has be of them from Helms Brothers and the last 4 from Michael Nekava. Michael is probably the best car salesman I have EVER done business with. He has bent over backwards to make me happy. He takes all the time you need. He expains anything and everything to need to know about the car you want to buy. When all is said and done, you wind up with the car you want at the price you want. AND......after delivery, Helms has by far the best service center I have ever been to. As a 30 year member of the Mercedes Benz Club of America, I highly recomend Helm Brothers as the dealership to go to. More

Value, service, attention to detail, and COMPLETE customer satisfaction is what this delership is all about. Lets face it.. the Mercedes is truly engineered like no other car in the world, but it is the dealership, and more importantly, it's staff that truly make the buying experience what it is. Let me tell you.. the employees are MASTERS at what they do! From the moment you walk in the front door, you are transported to a time and place where the customer is what it is all about. I recently purchased an ML 350 at you Bayside showroom, and I would like to bring to your attention the caliber of several employees that I had the pleasure of dealing with. In the past, I have made my Mercedes Benz purchases at Silver Star, but that is just that, in the past, for the most part, because of your employees. First and foremost, Mr. Michael Nekava is a phenomenal sales associate, and he will be mine for life. His attention to detail is astounding. He truly made me feel at home the minute I walked through the door. He stood by me throughout the purchase, and even has stayed in touch after the sale to ensure my happiness. To this day he is still in contact to ensure my happiness, and letting me know of current deals and incentives. Needless to say, my parents and cousin are currently working with him to get into a new Mercedes. Mikey truly is now part of our family.
